How about everone who raced post some times i know the track conditions sucked and everyone times were off from what they usually run,but aleast you all hit the track.I will get my time slips together tommorrow and post my best time.

13.40@102.91mph was my best time not that it mattered since they only had 2 throphys(fastest turbo and fastest n/a) I did'nt have a shot at either this year. Last year was better when they had one for each gen. I don't know why more people did"nt race?

 

^^ i know why i didnt race. because we came from massachusetts and the 4 hour drive home was alot cheaper than a 4 hour tow home if somthing broke. i would have loved to race though, if it was closer.

raced her at rotorfest didnt i.... ran a 13.3 and trapped 105 consistently peakin at 11psi.. ..horrible 2.1 sixty footer
not too shabby with stock ic.. rad.. motor.. leaking non seq turbos.. and heavy show wheels on street tires..
ran with bigger hp fds and faired well too... except yours... missed 3rd against ya..not that it wouldve mattered...those are my excuses..

she traps higher than that typically.. she is in the 12s with a better dragger..
shes no garage queen.. although she looks like it...shes sees at least 2 road course events during the season.. with a few drags thrown in..
im actively competing in scca solo2 with my daily this year.. so my time is taken up on that... im currently defending first for dsp class...
need to put my ps back to run competitively in asp with the fd next year... nice to have finally caught up with ya man..

 

My sob story reads much the same as amps, lol. I haven't drag raced since 2001, so lots of rust to shake off. I was happy with my RTs, but my 60 foots were horrible do to some serious bogging at the line. Heavy 17 inch wheels/tires didnt help. Due to the insane track temps, my boost was down to about 12 psi, and I didn't feel confident raising it due to the aforementioned ambien temps.

Best was a 13.2 at 110 with a 2.4 second 60 foot time. I need to keep race plugs in the glovebox, my street plugs were giving me breakup past 7k-ish rpm.

On a positive note, I am feeling that old addiction coming back. Who feels like going back on a test and tune when the weather is cooler? I want to take another shot with stock wheels, race plugs and 18 psi .

The RED FB ran a 9.49. Ate the american muscle UP!!!!!!

O.K. here is my best time of 12.55 at 112 mph running 15 psi and a shity 60 ft time of 2.162 and a slipping clutch in 2nd and 3rd gear.I know everyone has a story lol.

Amp its good to see another clean cym that gets raced I dont feel so bad about kicking the **** out of mine lets hook up with 2mchpwr and do some autocross events the last one i did was a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks man . Are you still running stock twins? i thought there was a t-78 cym fd running that day. it was soooo freaking hot out, i'm trying to see if everyone else was having the same low power problems as I was

 

Goodfella i still have the stock twin on my ride, but there was a cym with a body kit and a single turbo set up.I dont know how he ran maybe someone has it on video.Jason is suppose to post some vids so well see.Let me know when your going to hit Englishtown ill try to meet up with you,just wait for the cooler weather to roll in.

Onekwik7 whats up you sound bitter about not winning a trophy this year.You won fastest 2nd gen last year,you want a trophy every year.Your 10 aniv should of won best in show,you had the cleanest 2nd gen there.Lets get a track date together i know your car ran in the 12's at englishtown.Dont be so angry we all ran bad times. You should have brought your rx8 you might have had a shot at the n/a trophy.I wish i had a choice in what rotary rocket to bring lol.It was nice to spank you on the track this time last time we raced (when i was stock) you gave me asswooping

 

romeo ran 9.5 and got fastest turbo....so he went home with the trophy
