what time are we meeting off of 80? im trying to figure out a time that we should leave massachusetts so we're not running late.

Well we usally meet up by the holland tunnel at 8am or so, but many people last year disliked the early time so this year i think ima bump it to 830 (meaning people will come at 9am).. Then we will link up with the NJ heads in Jersy City/Hoboken then take I-95 to Route 80 and meet up with Chrism peeps at exit 48.

So from the Holland Tunnel to exit 48 on Route 80 should be a 45minute ride.

If we meet at 830am and leave around 900am meet up with NJ people at 905-915am. We can leave at 915am and be at exit 48 at 10:00am sharp (When you guys said you will be there).

So you MA/CT/RI guys can either meet up at the exit 48 spot (which is better and less headache for you guys). The Holland Tunnel spot is better for NYC headz

Last year we waited for the NJ people, why dont you guys already be at Mobile/Dunken Donuts area at like 845am, to ensure we leave on time.

And i cant STRESS this Enough, BRING YOUR OWN DIRECTIONs, last year people relied on ME and another guy to get to where we had to GO..

So lets start setting up the times......

the lil gathering (Caravan ) i put together last year had about 25+ RX-7's in it. So i think well have more than 15.

Its gonna be a sick caravan.

lets plan on being at the Charlton Mass Pike for 6:30 and leave at 6:45-7:00. it is a 3 hour trip to exit 48 off of rte. 80 to meet up with the NJ caravan.

here are the directions to exit 48:

7:00a.m.> 84- 39.7 miles
CONNECTICUT
7:50a.m.> Exit 57, take ramp left onto SR15- 1.1 miles
7:51a.m.> road turns into US5 (SR15)
7:52a.m.> Exit 86, take ramp right onto I 91- 36.5 miles
8:24a.m.> Take ramp onto left onto I 95- 64.8 miles
NEW YORK
9:29a.m.> Exit 6A turn right onto ramp
9:30a.m.> Take Ramp Left onto I 95- 7.8 miles
NEW JERSEY
9:38a.m.> keep left onto I 95 Express Lane- 2.6 miles
9:41a.m.> take ramp left onto I 80 Express Lane- 4.0 miles
9:45a.m.> merge onto I 80- 16.6 miles
10:01a.m.> arrive at exit 48 (Pine Brook Exit to meet RX-8 caravan)
MEET UP WITH NEW JERSEY RX-8 CARAVAN
(this is where it gets tricky-i had to take these off the island dragway website cause my mapquest couldnt find it)
take I-80 to exit 19
bottom of ramp, take left
go approximately 6 miles into hacketstown
make a right onto Rte 46/Main street
follow for 7 miles
entrance to track will be on right hand side just past Cannonballs Go-Go

So for us Westchester/Putnam/Rockland County/Bronx/Manhattan/Brooklyn/Queens/Staten Island/Nassau/Suffolk County people the Rotorfest Caravan meet will be located on Spring Street 1 block from the HOLLAND TUNNEL. We will meet up there by 8:00am and stay till about 8:45am. We will then go to NJ (where the NJ heads will be ALREADY waiting by MOBILE gas station/DUnken Donuts Parking Lot). We will leave no later than 9:15am (45 minute drive to exit 48 off Route 80). We will then arrive at 10:00am sharp at the RX-8 Club NJ location where the MA/RI/CT guys will be. Therefore our 3 caravans will meet up and we can hang out for 15 minutes and meet one another, then we can depart in a monster caravan to Rotorfest. I beleive Rotorfest starts at 11:00am, We will be there when they just open and will be first to arrive.

Lets get a tally of how many cars will show

NY/NYC/NJ (Holland Tunnel) Group should be about 30 Rotary cars + Others(Seriously)

MA/RI/CT = ??
RX-8=??

We gonna roll deep. =)

Just to confirm you guys will be there at 10am right...If this is correct then i will set my meets time accordingly to arrive at the location before or on 10:00am..
