Rotorfest 2005 Car Show And Drag Racing
#201
awesome time, an event very well done Jay, saw some cars I've never heard about like that yellow magnum GT that looked like a Ferrari Dino. Wish I could launched better at the strip but after the car poped out of 1st gear at 7K on the 3rd run I decided to give my poor tranny a break. All in all I had a good time wish the blonde gate attendant woulda gave me her number but other than that hope I'll be able to make it up from New Orleans (college) for Rotorfest2006.

I would like to personally thank everyone who came out to support the community. Thanks to my staff, and a big thanks to Vosko for doing alot of running around for me throughout the day.
The day went very smooth, there were a few things I was not prepared for, but this was my first attempt at holding RF at a track and offering a show and racing. Notes were taken, and improvements will be made for next year.
The owner of the track was happy with the turnout, and very happy and kinda surprised everyone handled themselves in a mature manner. I would also like to thank everyone for not ripping up his field. This location will be the location of RF for the next events.
Again, thanks to everyone who came out to support RF, and to my staff for keeping everything running smoothly.

It was a fantastic event that of course I will be attending again next year...kinda surprised I didn't notice some of the people there. I met quite a few of you last year (Polak did you drive your 8 there again...I didn't know you were there...it was gunmetal right?). By the way who owns the special edition (Shinka) RX-8, the brochure makes it look gorgeous...then I saw it for real and I couldn't stand up for an hour .
I also noticed the white gt (I like them in white with the pretty blue stripes) on my conquest to acquire something to eat (me, my sister, and defprun).
Anyway it was fantastic (I wish it hadn't rained though so I could've actually taken pics like I wanted, I brought all this equipment and then the ground was too soft to actually use it ) but I wanted to take more pics (a few hundred or so would do) I only snapped maybe 60 and a few movies.
Can't wait til next year now I need to get some tires so I can actually drive my car there ...a paint job wouldn't hurt either .

Didn't see you either, i was draging aroudn 2-4pm, probably for the better I might have had to give travasity a stern kick in the *** for all the bs he talks
So who ended up winning best in shows I couldn't stick around for the whole day? Although I was really glad to make use of the power wash bay on on the left and side of 31 after you made a right out of island.
