damn, i just realized that there is an import event at e-town on this day. i have been really looking forward to this meet, but these date conflicts make it hard to get a good turnout.

any posibility of pushing this back a week?
or bumping it a week closer?

i know its a long shot, but i had to ask

import event..
let me guess hundas that dont go nowhere...
well the import events lately loss touch of real tuners..
right now I know a lot peeps are turning in their imports and scavanging old school cars.
to tune them up for next season..
so next year you could remember this..
OLD SCHOOL IS BACK IN STYLE<<<<<<<<<rewind<<<<<<
so far around my area couple of guys I know has just bought 1.8's and a couple of rotaries and now looking for me to get parts for them.
cause I always kept one old school laying around....
so best is to show up at the meet..
and not waste your time at Etown..

im saying that i'd love to attend this event but that i think lots of ppl will end up going to the track and it's gonna hurt the turnout.

im not trying to be negative, just offering some helpful advice

im also trying to put a point out there also cause lately there is nothing much to see at the Etown. Lot of cats come out disapointed of what they see lately at the track.

Not only that the honda guys are hurting cause a lot of contracts got dropped so they are not beign sponsored like they used to...
Now turn to the VW market and u will be amazed how they are surviving. They are more open to what they do to they cars and not only that is more $$$$ than hondas...

so if you missed last show u missed a lot.
And im trying to support the guys from CT cause they are working hard to get this event rolling.....

I'm very sorry, but we pushed it back for the Wayne Mazda Show in NJ. This is our last meet for the year before it gets too cold.

We know that there are a lot of obstacles when planning a meet. We also know that not everyone is going to make it, but we hope enough people will make it so we can move forward. So we can really plan and lay a solid foundation for a big show next year.

Thanks

long range weather forecast isn't looking too good. I am not sure I am going to make the long drive down from MA if it is going to rain the whole time. I may not be able to make it anyway, but if it rains there is no way I will take that long of a trip in either of my old school rides in the wet.

I would like to thank everyone for attending this event, especially those who traveled from the outer skirts of Connecticut.

We appreciate your effort to make this a reality!

Due to a really nice turn out we are going forward with Rotor Mania for 2009!

Special thanks to Redd (Elm City Imports) for coming by and representing.

I would like to welcome two new members Hector (R-100) and Ramon (Rx-2) from NJ and PA.

For complete listing of pictures go to our website at www.vintagemazda.com under the events tab.

Video will be done hopefully before next weekend.

Thanks,
Ken
