Ok people, what's done is done. We live and learn, now we have to get together and plan a killer 2008 RotorFest Event. Hopefully we can use this energy in the planning for 2008. I know for a fact it will be better than this year's.

Now I was only charged $5 more so why would I give you $20. But if it really means that much to you I will send you the $5. I really can care less about getting in the middle of this. I wanted to go hang out and shoot the **** with fellow enthusiasts.
People bitched in the past about not being able to go on the other side. So if 5 bucks gets us the ability to go look at some of the rotaries that entered in the drags instead of the show I have no problem with it.
Should we have had the chance to not enter their car in the show and pay $10 entrance fee? Yes. But what the **** up until I got home and read about what happened when i left I thought it was turning out to be a good day.

you will still never get more then 150 cars, thats the max that seems to go no matter what the location, what the price, and how many people talk about it months in advance.
First time at the dragstrip there was no chatter about it, and the most cars showed up ever.
People all of a sudden complaining about the bad grass lot, its the same lot from the last 2 events, nothing is as bad as the first year at Island when it was all mud.
Im burned out with the whole scene, my cars sit not being driven with no desire to even touch them. I would plan a month in advance, put a friend and his wife up in my house so he could go and promote nopistons, bring 2 cars with me, make food, drinks, coolers, tables, tents, etc...
And NO ONE else would contribute a thing, all they would do is critisize everything after the fact.
You want my one piece of advice? Dont have it in ******* July, too damm hot.
Have it in May or early June when its cooler out. That 4 hour drive home in traffic sucks even with the A/C on.

I do agree with you, however, that threatening each other is NOT the way to resolve ANYTHING. If someone walks up to another member and punches him because they had a disagreement, thats straight up dirtbag. We're all adults, lets act like it.

I don't consistantly drive fast, and I didn't get a chance to line up with anyone. Intake temps were too hot, anyways. I'm not quite sure who you are... which car were you driving?

Like I have said earlier i had no problem paying the $20 for me and my car. The first rotorfest i went to I payed 15 for me and 10 for a passenegr and this was back in 04 when it was at sussex county fairgrounds.
The two years following, when it got moved to Island I think I payed 15 for me and 5 for my passenger. But in 05, and 06 we were not allowed on the other side till after they closed the track for the rotaries to run. This year they allowed us to walk across anyone ever think thats where the other 5 bucks came from?

I'll type it out nice and slow for you.
Code:
T H E T R A C K O F F I C I A L S S A I D F I V E D O L L A R S P E R H E A D
They confirmed, $5 a head.

I don't think there is any reason to "accept" it. People jumped all over other members like "SLONSHO" and other guys when they felt they were scammed, why should it be any diferent in this case? Just because he has been a member since 2001 and has 7,000+ posts, doesn't make him any better than any other respectable member on here. Stealing money is stealing money, period.

It was a great area, but didn't we get banned from there because of the problems that where caused there? People doing burnouts, joy riding in a certain 8 and other stuff. Of course there was a big fight over that one to and thats why we went to Island so that people could show off at a legal location.

Wow. I just sifted through the 22 pages of **** that we are calling a thread.
Although I wasn't at the event, those who know me know how I am (NYRA, CTRA, NJRA) and the bottom line is that this is a shame. A ******* shame.
Jason, you know what's left to do man. I had a feeling eventually it would all come down to it, but it looks like the tri-state area (and then some??) is all in your hands, bro. If you need anything you know how to get in touch with me.
And for all of you guys who got ripped off, I'm sorry someone from the "community" would stoop to that level. Just remember that people more often than not are good.
With that, I think we can all say Vosko = and the community probably won't be seeing him around any more.
And Jay, don't bother getting violent with that dude. It's not worth it, and it never will be.
See you all around.
PS: Upstate crew, I heard you ************* wanted to crash my house. You should have done it, you know I'm down for a little drinky!
