Point of it is, if you're going to put together something significant to make a profit then FINE but don't bullshit your way through it either. Be upfront about it. I can guarentee I would have been there had the price been $35 or $40 but DON'T tell me $5 then when I show up rip me off because you decided the day off that your fat *** couldn't afford a grocery bill (Vosko).

I have plenty of money to pay for admission and so do most people here but we also have enough dignity to want to NOT get fxcked without a reach around. Like I have said earlier i had no problem paying the $20 for me and my car. The first rotorfest i went to I payed 15 for me and 10 for a passenegr and this was back in 04 when it was at sussex county fairgrounds.

The two years following, when it got moved to Island I think I payed 15 for me and 5 for my passenger. But in 05, and 06 we were not allowed on the other side till after they closed the track for the rotaries to run. This year they allowed us to walk across anyone ever think thats where the other 5 bucks came from?

Now I was only charged $5 more so why would I give you $20. But if it really means that much to you I will send you the $5. I really can care less about getting in the middle of this. I wanted to go hang out and shoot the **** with fellow enthusiasts.

People bitched in the past about not being able to go on the other side. So if 5 bucks gets us the ability to go look at some of the rotaries that entered in the drags instead of the show I have no problem with it.

Should we have had the chance to not enter their car in the show and pay $10 entrance fee? Yes. But what the **** up until I got home and read about what happened when i left I thought it was turning out to be a good day.

 

the reason i know is cuz i planned on goin but being in the military keeps u workin all the time so i couldnt make it. but i know all jay is like my brotha so when he talks to me and lets me know things **** gets me tight u feel me chrism. plus i met u a few times at the queens meet and the bear mtn meets kid. but thats not here nor there. all im sayin is that if my famz comes to me wit some **** im a hear it out plain and simple u know.

 

hey guys, just came back at home. I enjoyed rotorfest more than ever. I actually found it weird when I knew it was 30 bucks for entering the place but anyways, i probably made more than 450 miles to come in NJ so I didnt really care about the entrance fees. I had a great week end but if everything i read in this thread is true, that's sad. I met vosko saturday night and he gave me the impression of a good dude!

I'll come back next year ! That was great!

Since I started this I will post in plain english for those who cannot handle slang.

"It is not about the money!" It is about a guy who tells you it's out of his control that the price went up. You then find out the price did not go up. He lies to the entire rotary community and then does not man up to it. We all would have been fine if it was said out front because "it's not about the money". Don't worry I'm man enough (Physically and Mentally) to man up to any thins that happens at our meets. Talk to any of the guys that come to one! I will be easy to find at them, I'm around 5'6" and 165lbs.

 

Ok just got caught up for the most part since I posted last night and I realized something.

Those that are blasting us that are obviously Vassholes friends all have pretty much stated that they didnt show up for this event?!?!?! Is it just me or is that kinda strange/odd/funny? Now come on guys if your his friend and are defending him why were you not there? And no I aint gonna buy a b.s. excuse of "I had work" hell I requested it off just like alot of other people.

All and all I am not going to this event next year the total disrespect I feel was handed out by those who ran it to everyone to me is inexcusable.

Polak I wish I could of bought more shirts but that surprise $15 extra charge kinda sucked a T-shirt purchase outa me. Along with everyone else I bet.
