I've recently decided to get in the market for a 3rd gen RX-7 and the only thing that concerns me is that I do not know any credible rotary mechanics or shops in Va Beach, VA. I would be hesitant to buy the car without first having a good rotary mechanic to be able to perform any work I would require. Anywhere in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth, and maybe even Hampton would be fine as well. Also, this may sound weird but I've heard that if you are not too familiar with the rotaries that it is a good idea to take someone who is when going to inspect the car. Is it odd to offer someone cash to come take a look at a car or cars with me so as to keep me from making a mistake. I know IC motors like its nothing but the rotary thing is chinese to me. I think PFS is in Virginia, but its a big state so not sure how far from you that is. I heard they are pretty reputable under their new management. I work on these cars in my spare time and would love to help you out, but I am in NJ. If you end buy purchasing one and can get it my way, I'd take care of you.
