these are the days I wish I drove an econocar. Low maintenance, and cops don't pull you over unless your car looks retarded.

Hehe I drive an econocar pretty much . I'm thinking of pulling the wing and going wingless. I'm sure I'll get a lot less attention from cops, and it will look good. I haven't decided though.

I had to start my car about 10 feet away from 5 cops last night...that was stressful.

I can't say I've EVER used 1K rpm as a redline before last night...

i know what you mean. 5th gear, 15mph.. oh yea

that sucks brian, at least you didnt get pulled, but cops can really blow *** sometimes.

edit, i was just talking to my friend online. a couple months ago my friend bought what i thought, besides josepi's, was the cleanest s5 t2 ive ever seen. i guess he got bored with the power, and put intake, exhaust on it. then he went to a manual boost controller and upped it to 15psi. needless to say, the SAME day he pop'd all three seals on the rear rotor.. such a nice car too

I'd say slap a stock wheel on and ride around for a bit to see if you notice the same feel.

If there's a noticeable difference, check the inside of that single wheel, try moving it to a different location and see if the problems is with the hub in a location or with the wheel itself.

Ok, I'll do that tonight. My stock wheels are at delta v, although I might pick them up before I go down to mike's and see if it does it, just I have to call the owner to get him to unlock it for me.

Offset is pretty close too, just from eyeballing them. Stock TII wheels are 16x7 +40mm. I've been looking for a set of 16" wheels to replace the stock wheels which have eaten enough curbs and need to be retired.

Hehe, do you know of any meets on saturday nights?

The slipstreams could be a good chioce. 16x7, +45, 114.3x5 bolt pattern. I'm thinking the problem might be with the lugnuts. I'm using. Either way I doubt it's the slips. Hopefully mike and I can figure it out today. Time for some errands then meeting mike then grandmothers then trying to find some sort of car related function to attend tonight. Anyone wanna get together?

Just checked my car for hail damage and it seems to be fine. I got pretty lucky since a few cars arorund mine had some nice dents in them.

Lucky. Weather is a pain in the *** to try and deal with. Park under a tree, and you'll be saved from hail. However, strong winds can break a branch free and...well....yea.

autox kicked ***. there were some REALLY tight spots that i didnt like, but all in all, good course.

i was REALLY impressed with how good my girlfriend did. after her first run and taking out 10 cones (literally) i thought it would be down hill from there, but i told her she could do better, and gave her some pointers, and she ended up doing pretty well. her last run was a 68 something, but that was also with a dead stop before the finish box. im confident that if she could of nailed the finish box like she did the rest of the course, she could of walked away with a ~64-65.

im burnt as hell though between sunday, and va beach on monday.

where were you at zach? was it a mothers day thing?
