yea same here. I've been trying to find ways to throw me further into debt....seriously thoug, how much are you asking for the whole TII unit. Same questions rob asked essentially.

 

This is an S4 engine. I want to get around $400 for everything. I've already taken it all apart and cleaned it. I figure the main items (engine block, transmission, and turbo) will get me close. The goal is to trade a TII engine for a weber carb.

Service our cars?Not around here,would i let anyone touch my car who owns a shop.Get a chiltons manual and read.Get on the forum and read,thats where alot of my knowledge came from,and then theres zach,when rebuilds need to be done and each other in local area to help each other out.

I'll see after my road trip to break in the flywheel clutch. I think I might X it.

I need some suspension upgrades though. Mostly to tighten-up the rear for personal prefrence. I still have no complaints with the car other than the pain to work on it. Just need to plan a little more time than usual for a job.

 

autox was kick *** yesterday. 3rd heat they didnt have anything for me to do, so 10 minutes later i left and went to work on the 2.3 rx7. my friend adam came with me and we figured it out!! needed new plugs, go figure. i took it out of my neigborhood so i could open it up... holy **** that thing has some rediculous power. not to sound cocky, but its one of the fastest cars ive ridden in. its only on 7psi of boost, im kind of afraid to put the boost controller on and up it to my planned 15psi. i took alot of my friends for a ride, everyone left the car with a holy ****. this thing is a freakin monster

 

The autoX was good, my car was awesome. The camber plates have to be one of the best upgrades. My fastest time was a 60.2. FTD for cars was a 58.something.
BUT, apparently I was missing a gate that everyone else was missing because it was poorly marked, and they never announced that I was off course until after my runs. So since I didn't know, all four of my runs were OC. I got fucked.

I have a proplem. I have a reporting assignment where I need to get some shots of cars. This weekend is the only time I can get the camera I need to do this. I'm not asking for anything crazy (unless you want to). Mostly what I need is some static shots of cars. If you guys are planning any kind of meet this weekend I'd like to join you. Anyhoo let me know.

Hey zach, do you know when they will post the results? I need them now! My best run was a 65.9, wondering how I stacked up against the other novices. I thought they normally posted them the same day, but I guess not on this one . Man that was a fun day, what times did you run, mike? I need a ride in the beast!

Dunno, it usually takes a few days.

 

I took ~75 pics at the drift event...bad thing is, using ISO 800 film (don't get me wrong, the cars are frozen midturn, absouletly no movement is shown...frozen wheels!!!) it's a lil grainy.

 

Side note, there's a red on gray 88 TII for sale near me.

Actually thi is a beta camcorder, I need shots of moving cars only im not moving the camera (lost a letter grade for that lol) anyhoo I was hoping over the weekend you or someone you know was planning on doing something. Will you be at your office for a while?

 

sorry bout that, I didn't explain what I meant lol. What I mean is I will be video reocrding your cars using a betacam on a tripod then conducting interviews. This won't be broadcast so don't worry about blurring out liscense plates or anythign like that. The only people that will see it is the professor and our class.
