well, not sure what kind of response this is going to get, but dont get too worked up...i shaved the emblems off the back today...bondo is crazy stuff. after i was done i ended up making molds of my hands. car should go in for paint wednesday. robin dissected the throttle body this weekend and cleaned it all up. he asked if i wanted to take off all the unecesary stuff, but to keep in mind that it was illegal and took a little bit out of the low end throttle response. my reasoning to not do it was this: my car is not a race car. (i realized this after november 13, 2003) it does not spend 90% of its driving life in the high end rpms. the second reason being that my car is already pretty damn illegal. no emissions, db level waay too high, cold air box...so until i make it onto the speed vision channel, the throttle body is staying stock. but i do need a new tps. ordering that tonight or tomorow

That way, I don't have to go anywhere to get something machined to possibly the point where it's not going to work as well...

Hey, video sometime this week. My friend got back from germany, so I can edit it at his house now. Just need to find a time this week to go over there. Mike, is it done? Bringing it to the autox?

um... i changed the fuel pressure regulator out yesterday, and it idles and starts up MUCH better/easier. but i took it for a spin and its still not building boost and studdering real bad. im thinking the timing is off, so im going to mess with that tomorrow. i still have to seal off and vent the battery box as well. i would really like to drive it up there on a trailer, but who knows. its looking 50/50 on if it will be there or not. i still have to get a water temp gauge, and i dont know if i want to risk it overheating. either way, ill be there racing. im really going to push having the rx23 out there though.

Yeah, I was gonna put it in Jacobs car.
I think I'll take my time with it. Clean everything up, refurbo the turbo, keep my eyes open for a rotor and housing and intake manifold, and figure out how I'm gonna put it in my car. Might be this summer, might not be ever. The engine in my car still runs strong, even though time says it should be near the end, so I'll keep priority to the PP 1st gen. By the time I get the first gen finished, I'll be damn close to graduating, and then my financial position will be greatly improved. I only have 12 credits after this semester.
Soooo, I can either hang on to the engine and stuff, or sell it to help pay for the first gen. I still need to buy the carb, fuel pump, and GSL-SE oil pan; all together about $700. I think I'll work on getting the [PP] motor finished and installed first, and then worry about possible selling stuff to buy the carb. After I buy apex seals and springs from Rotary Aviation ($90) and the o-ring kit ($150) (which I have money for), I'll be able to finish the short block. Throw in $90 for the oil pan and I can install it. Just need my Dad to finish the garage he said he was gonna build so I have somewhere to work...

Ok, I've decided to sell the TII motor, turbo, & tranny. Do you guys think I should dissassemble the motor and sell the housings, end plates, and front rotor seperate, or sell the block as a whole? I'm trying to get enough money to pay for the weber for my first gen.
