take 95 to the ruffin mill exit (95 s coming from richmond, 95 north coming from p-burg)

95s - youll take an exit ramp and youll go across a bridge that goes over 95. youll come to a 4 way stop light. go right.

95n, youll get off and you will come to a stop light right off the exit. you will have to either go left or right. go right

once you are going right.. there will be a bunch of industrial parks. we can meet in any of them. i say (to make directions easier). go down that road. youll come to a 90* in the road, go through there, then there will be a warehouse on the RIGHT (theres one on both sides, but go to the one on the right) it will be a havertys (i didnt spell that right). we can meet in that parking lot.

let me know if you have questions on directions

i think it's the B exit we want, also. not sure though. anyway, I think we should probably meet in whatever lot is farthest away (closest to the col-de-sac) to keep attention down (especially from police). Are you bringing some eju guys mike? Dustin and company? the more the merrier, hopefully we'll have a good turnout. if anyone knows anyone who would wanna come bring em along. I dunno how we should work out the snake road run. if we have a ton of cars it might get unsafe, but we'll just have to keep a good distance.

the police wont mess with use unless we are messing around, especially on a sunday, everything is shut down out there.

i dont know about the eju guys, no one has a working car, or a valid licence in joe's case. maybe a passanger? who knows...

my friend jeremy just bought a VERY clean 1990 turbo 2. im going to see if he wants to go, and also another friend with a turbo 2.

Not sure if I'll be able to make it.
Question: Where is Rosen Autosport located? Do they have a wideband O2? And how much do they charge for an hour of dyno time?

Rosen is or was just off of Boulevard near the diamond. I heard that they shut down last year, not sure about that though. If they are still open they do have a wideband. Can't remember a price for the dyno.

Rosen closed down, and from what I hear it was a good thing. I've heard from a few very reputable people that Rosen had no clue what they were doing, and fucked up a lotta people's cars. There's a reason they shut down, heh. I think there's somewhere on southside off of midlothian with a dyno, but I'll have to check. The guy who runs the shop I help out at will know, and I'm probably going by there this afternoon. I'll be sure to ask him when I see him. Hope to see you Sunday!

You mean like forgetting to fully tighten brake lines? Nothing like barrelling towards an intersection of stopped cars and having your brake pedal sink to the floor....

Anyways...that's ancient history in my books.

I never did find out about AED and it's dyno. Most places that do dyno will charge anywhere from 75-150 per hour...that's up to the shop really.

Yeah, I talked to someone at AED about a month ago. They said they would have their dyno up around now. For all the interest in tuning cars these days, I can't believe there aren't more shops with dynos. Maybe we should all dig some change out of the sofa cushions and go buy one? Heh.

So long as we can get the wheels off to get at the rest, yes!

Need me to bring any tools, or do you think you have enough to have it covered?

Woot! I'm still in pain...

I found out that the ring "gear" for the ABS sensor can be swapped, but the FSM doesn't show any clear shot and since it was getting dark I didn't even think to look to see if the ABS sensor was held on by a bracket or what...

yea, ive been planning on it for a long time, then they hit us with a $50 entry fee

last year they were $30 for all day. i know they dont pay for the lot at cloverleaf, and they want to raise the prices? i know autox's are only 15-20 bucks..

I'm still 50/50, my wheel bearing is making some nasty noises...while the wheel probably isn't going to fall off, it still freaks me out. But ya, I'll most likely show up!

I have to change oil on three cars today, plus get a better look at everything around my front spindle.

David, the car is still pulling to the left, so everyone else knows, we took the right front caliper off when we discovered the differences between the 91 nonABS and ABS BS. I hit the brakes a few times when the caliper was off the rotor (doh!) but discovered that 3/4 of the calipers pistons were frozen...we bent up a C clamp trying to push the one working piston back in, gave up and used the caliper from the parts car which amazingly enough, all four pistons seemed to be in good shape. I'll let David tell you about his gran dorifto experience tommorow...

Hehe, should be a fun time tomorrow! I'm thinking meet at 2PM, chill in the parkinglot for 30 minutes or so, do snake up and maybe chill in the park there, or come back down and go and get some food or something. Bring those cameras!
