im liking that zach.

im pretty hopeful to have the car started either tomorrow or wednesday (working tuesday). we got most of the wiring done today, which was alot. fuel lines hooked up in the engine bay, all but one of the coolant hoses on, radiator mounted. wires ran to the back of the car for the battery. all the wires that i dont need eliminated. ect. we just need to install the fuel pump, plug up a few more sensors, and shes good to go

Very nice car, Zach. Those pics were taken on Monument Ave., I presume? I used to live in the Fan, but got out of town when it came time to look for a house.

Southside's my territory :-p. Btw mike, I drove snake road...OMG FUN! 2 miles of heaven. It's right near my friend's work actually. We all should hit it up sometime. We can all park in one of those big parkinglots or in the col-de-sac. Installed the turbo timer on friday with one of my friends, it's nice to not have to sit in the car now

Thanks. Thats Monument Ave.

Alright guys, see if you can help me out here. I need just a few more things to assemble this engine. I need two decent rotors and one decent rotor housing for a 13B. Let me know if you have anything. We're at a major halt at the moment.

BTW, two first gens and no second gens at CAP as of Saturday.

i wish i oculd help you out zach, but i sold my stuff a long time ago. your welcome to the 2384792374 various parts i have under the house if youd like. i found out we still have most of the intake/efi stuff from my dad's 13b from a couple years ago. (dont know if that owuld be any use to you or not?)

on the 2.3...

we hooked the battery up today and started playing with lights and wires. theres a few things that need to be sorted out, but good news, we found the hot wires, the tach input wire, and the starter wire. so she cranks over now, not to mention lights work, and so on. it would cool to hear her come to "pre" life. shes looking at a 95% chance of being at the coming up autox. unless she happens to break the day before (knock on wood).

I need to borrow your drive to get things done. I just picked up my replacement car Sunday. I posted pics of it here... https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...90#post2700590

I feel like I am going to be pushing it to get it ready in time for MADS.

Anyone up for a meet/drive on sunday? I'm thinking meet at this parkinglot near snake road. It's a little ways down 95 south, near colonial heights. I think it's like exit 58b, not sure. It's the Ruffin Mill one. If people are interested I'm sure Mike can give some detailed directions. Anyway, I'm thinking we could all meet in one of the big parkinglots, then drive snake rd a few times. That road is amazing. 2 miles of recommended 20 or 25 MPH . Anyway, anyone interested?

Work, but **** I'll leave early!

Would I need spring compressors for the front? Shouldn't have to take off the big top bolt, but I will need the mount and everything below...this should be fun .

Yup. That'll work. Don't need the compressors unless I'm taking the spring/strut out (which either the strut or the mounting block is out of whack).

I almost want to pound out the old wheel bearing to see how much damage happened to it!

just taking a break.. im getting fusterated/discouraged. i know its goign to kick ***, but ive been under the hood, and under that car 24/7 it feels like. and once i finish one thing, i go to another. i got out of school early because "i had a headache", but just didnt feel like sitting around photography when i could be doing **** with the car. i got the power ran to my gauges, put my gauge cluster back in, and everything else but the steering wheel. then i started messing around with the coolant system, everythign would be cool if i could get a 5/8, 5/8, and 1/2" T, but i cant find one anywhere.

dunno, im just bitchin...

Meet Sunday

Location:
Near Snake Road. Mike can you give directions and I'll edit this post with them. I'm pretty sure it's exit 58B off of 95 south, but I know it's the Ruffin Mill Road exit.

Who's coming?

brianmcd (Brian)
88vert (?)
onepointone (Mike)
Ryan (one of brian's friends, either driving a Prelude or riding an R1.)

Josepi?
Zach?

I'll probably bring out the video camera, maybe get some nice shots on snake road. Even if it's just 4 or 5 of us it'll be fun.

Oh yeah, what time do you guys want? I'm thinking like 1 or 2, but I can probably do earlier or later. I have an exam on monday, so not too late, and I'll be in Charlotte, NC on sunday morning. I'll leave there early, but if the meet is earlier I can just leave in time to make it. So what time is best for everyone?
