Hey l33trx7 i have a set of S5 tailights with the license plate surround ill sell.Maybe all my 2nd gen parts.Im gonna sell the vert once i get the motor rebuilt.Im the proud new owner of a 93 5speed black with red int. with 69,000 miles on it.Im just waiitng for the check to arrive,then i go pick it up,i got a hella deal on it yall wouldnt believe it if i told you.Im so happy ive been walking around with a hard on ever since i test drove it.

yea, no more, after last night, I did feel like a vulture. Sorry bout that rob. Tell us what the insurance guy has to say, if he doesn't total it you going to try to save it. I really wanted to see that thing autox with my own eyes.

sorry guys, its been decided and im keeping the car, i apologize to anyone who had their heart set on the tail lights. ive got 6 months before i get my license back, which only means one thing....6 months to get the car back to were it was. so far it sounds like ive got the hook up for the body work, as long as the frame is alright...it wont be totalled becuase there was no claim...only liability insurance. even though it looks pretty totalled...im a dumbass.

It seems to be the season or something. My GSLSE has also come into contact with another object. It was fairly minor looking until I got looking close and I think the chassis is fixable, but it would cost way more than it is worth. I have gotten another GSLSE roller that I can transplant everything into, but I am not 100% sure that is what I am going to do. I also have my eyes on another complete failrly nice condition GSLSE that has an engine that "does not run right" the rest of the car is failry nice, Actually except for some of the orignal paint peeling the car is in excelent shape. Best interior I have seen in one. Now if the guy and I can agree on a price I will have a car. Then it is back to the drawing board on getting all of my mods done to take it to VIR and the like.

Brian, if you ride with me, technically it's considered a fun run, since your driving that day. Kinda like a penalty, but it's cool with me. Same goes for if I ride with you. Then again, they don't have to know.
Jacob, I'm glad to hear your alright. Your lucky you didn't smash an arm, but I'm sure you've heard plenty of that from mom & dad. I'm also glad to hear your restoring it. It doesn't look too bad except for the rear quarter panel. That's gonna have to be done at the body shop. I'm sure Rob will tell you it's gonna be a little harder finding S5 body panels than S4.

yall missed a really good event today. as you know how rough cloverleaf's pavement is, but the end of the day, there were shreads of rubber ALL over the place.
i got a ride from one of the guys ive been seeing at the events, his name is JR and he is part of the "ACES HIGH" ground of dgtrials. that guy was sooo insane, we were in the back part of the cloverleaf course only (near where the construction was) and we were doing a good 50mph, sideways the whole course. i was trying not to **** myself.
i had some pretty good runs. by the end of the day i was holding some pretty decently long drifts, and i finally got this really wide/long corner, all the way around. i was one of the only underpowered guys to get it all the way though that turn. while i was goign through that run, i could hear the belts shreading off my tire, and i was told i was through huge chunks of rubber and throwing alot of sparks. 2 turns later the tire blew out. it was cool coming back through the pits and getting props from almost every drifter in line, and then some.
it was a good day, now i just need to see if i can track someone down with the videos (assuming someone got some of me)

yea, im glad im restoring it too, ive heard i can get the fender and door for cheap at 'you wrench it' , assuming they have an s-5....cross the fingers, and the rear quarter panel is definatly gonna see a body shop, id like to get the RE Amemiya front spoiler if the wallet permits...and after all that, a new coat of paint...dont know if the big brother already posted it, but we got it driving today, somehow the cruise control was holding the throttle open. driver rear tire is also shot, we think, so a new set of rubbers is needed too.
