Mine has blown exhaust flange gaskets. Lights up the car on overrun underneath at night. Some ricers think I am running some sort of strobe light under the car :-)

haha, sorry about that. I did not reuse mine b/c a new one came with my rebuild kit. I would say if it looks to be in decent shape and it is not blown go for it.

I just got denied by M'trix for the RX-7 Project. I actually had a decent conversation with Henry there. He said they're not a large company, and they're having enough trouble keeping their project cars funded. He also said the market isn't very large, which surprised me. Robin, this isn't good news for ECMT. It would be nice to have an efficient and accurate way to find out what the market is.
I'm going to have to fund it myself. Life's a BITCH.

damn zach that sucks... if you need anything i can donate. i know you wanted a limited slip, but you can have the rear out of my car if you want, also, i have that extra carb and various other things ill donate if you need. you dont necessarily need a expensive car to go fast (as im sure you know). there are plenty of mods you can to do a stock nikki (carb) to make it supply enough fuel for a large street port (dont know about bridge though). but if you need stuff, let me know, i might even throw that extra tranny your way for a LITTLE bit of money just because i was going to use it.

other hand. those of yall who want to see 2f2f tonight, my friends and i (eju) are meeting up with the dragva.com people at hooter in midlo at 8 tonight if you want to show up. we are seeing the movie at 10:45 at commonwealth 20. hope to see some of yall there...

Thanks man. I don't want to take too much from you, you've already given me 50% of the project! I've posted in the 1st gen section asking for donations. I just hope it doesn't get bumped to the classifieds.

I'll probably just go with a street port. The bridge port will get too expensive. I might look into the 13B swap since it would be cheaper for me to build a 13B with all the resources I have.

what you could/should do is use the 12a plates (granted if they are still good) and use 13b rotors and housings to make a 4 port 13b.

josepi - im not on there, my friend dustin is though (im not sure his name, but hes the guy with the blue miata)

anyone down for the movie tonight?

I'm not gonna watch it, but I'll go just to see/laugh at what's up...

All of this depends of course on the level of soboriety I am maintaining at that given time....

while i was on and before i forget...

does anyone have a second gen seats they would like to sell me? i would really like t2 seats, but i know they are hard to find/expensive. reason is my dad's birthday is coming up, and hes been wanting new seats for his 87 rex because the ones in there are pretty worn out. thought it might be a cool gift.

Damn, now your talkin. I wonder what kind of intake runners I could use. I'd actually like to keep the fuel injection setup. I've been reading up on some articles showing that FI is the better than a carb setup. It just takes some design & tuning.
Soooo, anyone have any TII housings they want to donate?

i found in my unsucessfull search for 13b housing, if you use 12a or first gen 13b side plates, you need the same generation housings (85 down) because of the water seals. i think it was the first gens that have the water seal groove in the plate, and the second and third gens have them in the housing.

I don't know if I can make the movie, that's kinda late, considering I'm supposed to be home at 11 :o. Me and Carter will probably see it somewhere closer. Btw Mike, I saw Paul in the parking lot of commonwealth 20 today. He told me not to waste my money lol. He said he might go back tonight with the gsx.
