Alright, need some help from you Richmond rotorheads. I have the chance to move to Richmond area for work. Looking to rent an Apartment as the job I have I am only home for about 10 days out of the month. So what are some nice apartments in the area. I am looking at what is offered, prices look good, but pictures can only do so much.

So what are some nice apartment complexes?

Looking for non-ghetto areas. No congestion, I like the cities, but hate living near them.

Any good info is appreciated. I have the option to live many places, but I chose richmond, because I lived in DC for 13 years. So help a fellow rotorhead out.

Thanks
Justin

Apt.

I would check out www.apartments.com. They have a majority of the apts in Richmond listed on there.

The Meadows on Rt. 1 is nice from what I have heard. Most of the complexes in the west end are nice. I would stay away from those that are managed by a company called GSC. If you see their name you can be pretty sure it is not a great part of town.

Sorry I can't give more specifics, but that is a start at least.

Do you the general location of where you will be working? Traffic can be a bitch in Richmond, so you may be able to minimize your commute time and have a fat pad...

MFP10thAnn 07-11-07 06:33 AM

Patrick- Have you bought that TIG yet?

niburu 07-13-07 11:14 AM

Anyone headed down to Starbucks tonight?
Y'all miss the Subaru and Scion squads last week.
And some nice cars showed up too.
I'll bring out the FC for first time in awhile.

Just thought I'd drop a line and see if it was ok to bring some Mazda 3 drivers by your Starbucks meetup. We're doing dinner at Joe's Inn at 7:30. After that some of us may be up for heading down to see some rotaries. Would that be ok with you guys?

MFP10thAnn 07-20-07 10:45 PM

TIG bitches!

On a side note, I am getting ready to sell a bunch of parts here real soon including (for TII):

Full exhaust- Racing beat DP/presilencer and HKS sport cat back. good shape $300

HKS FCD- has worked like a champ for past few years. $50

Corksport (I think) stainless oil lines- good shape. just need to be flushed for extra safety. damn good shape $70

Up pipe with RFL type BOV welded in (not sure of brand), great shape. bolt in- $70.

Crane HI-6 ignition- used for ~2000 miles- $100

I will give the locals first dibs... PM me if interested.

is that racing beat DP the revII model?

MFP10thAnn 07-21-07 01:25 AM

^^^no, it is the smaller 2.5" downpipe and presilencer. If I recall, the HKS cat back exhaust is 60mm. The cat back is old school.

yusoslo 07-21-07 09:45 AM

consider the oil lines sold. as long as they dont leak. I am in RIC and have cash

MFP10thAnn 07-21-07 11:56 AM

^^^ You got it.

Sudox_E 07-22-07 04:00 PM

Hey guys, I have a couple big items for sale, that I'm not trying to ship. Figure I would see if any of you were interested.

I've got a 12a, about 1000 miles on the full rebuild rebuild. Street ported. All of the work was done by Chris Rogers in VA beach. Very experienced, did a great job for me. It was on my project car which I've given up on, been in the car for a few years, ran fairly frequently. $800

Full gsl-se suspension. The rear axle has been repainted, rotors turned, new brake pads, and axle bearings and seals. There is currently an open diff in it, but I have the LSD. The LSD is in good condition, but I tried replacing the pinino nut and seal without having a good idea of how to setup a rear diff. Not too smart on my part. I have the front strut assemblies also, but I havent done anything with them, there's surface rust, old brake pads, etc.. I'm asking $225. I also have a set of Eibach springs and tokico blues. About 1000 miles on those also. I'll throw those in for another $150.

I have all the glass to be found on a fb, transmission, (+) wheels with low mile sumitomos, and SE wheels with old tires. Make me an offer if interested.

My e-mail is rowelljl@vcu.edu if you are interested. Or you could always PM me.
