Tight courses? Difficult SCCA car classing? There's a better way, and it starts with:

http://www.nasaproracing.com/nasa_ev.../?event_id=428

LOL,

LOL,

Jon
I tried to make the last couple but work and such always seems to get in the way.

I have signed up for the VMP event on the 14th. Niburu, you going to be there?!

We had that same problem at VIR last Feb. ;-)

VMP will give us a rescheduled Sunday if it's snowy (presumably a week or two later.) Anyone who can't make the rescheduled date gets a full refund or credit for one of our 9 other events at VMP in '07. No big deal!

Plenty of time to get that handled. Hopefully we'll still have spots left. The real question is... FC or FD? Or Miata? ;-)

Yay for the FC with the sparkly pinstripes! ;-)

I'll be at Starbucks by 8:30. Anybody know how to pull an Alpine CD player out of a certain green 4-door E36 M3? (Gotta plug in my new Sirius & can't figure out how the effin' head unit comes out.) ;-/

Yay I'm back...well sort of. I'll be out of the hospital in a day or two. Long story. Had a baaad asthma attack ended up getting pneumonia so I've been at MCV for the past week. They say I'm getting to the point where I will be able to leave so. I might see you guys in a few weeks. Just letting you know I'm still alive and everything.

I hope you feel better, man! I saw the 1337rx7 in a parking lot the other day and left you a note. I lost all numbers in my phone book. Take care.

my dad was cleaning house yesterday at his place and we are trying to get rid of all my old rx7 stuff that is taking up space at his place.

-complete 12a motor thats disassembled (housigns are flaked, but everything else looks decent).
-2 complete sets of first gen "+" style wheels. (tires mounted, but no good)
-a starter for a 12a
-12a manual tranny
-s4 13b auto tranny
-12a carb (i believe the top hat is off, but its rebuildable)

a few other odds and ins im sure im missing. just ask.

its all free to someone that wants to pick it up. if not, its going in the trash. id hate to throw it all away.

yea I'm out and I've been letting my room mate drive my car to work, since her car's in the shop and since I didn't need it. I'll ask her about the note. Anyhoo I'm back home out of the hospital thank god. I swear I hate hospitals, it's so depressing and they actually think TV is going to keep me entertained. But yea I might go to one of the meets in a few weeks or something. I'm not really too fond of standing out in the cold for too long unless I decided to look really retarded and like have 5 layers or something.

DAMN Cal glad you OK
I've had a few brushes with pnuemonia, one that put me in the hospital as well

on a different note
Does anyone have a functional light switch for a FC - I'd really like to drive the car at night,
or should I just rig up toggle switches?

I'd just rig up toggle switches for the time being. My light switch was burned and oh so crispy. I've finally got another light switch in there now though.

On another note, there seems to be an s5 black fc thats always in my area along Springfield rd and Staples Mill rd... and it's a girl, a very, very hot girl in a very very hot car.

I have been gone forever so its good to be back. Robin is kind enough to help me out with my suspension issues. The rx-7 will be back on the road in no time!

We should definitely continue to post up track days, auto-x's, local drift events, cause I want to get my moneys worth out of this car.

I will be bringing the sexiest FC up to starbucks soon though, especially since I have cut back on my partying, thats more money for turbos and stuff.

Between NASA and VMSC this year there will hardly be a weekend off.
I can't wait to see the results of this past Sunday, when I had left Robin had me beat by a full second. I wonder if he made 2 secs faster when he did the remaining runs without a passenger?
I won't be down at starbucks with teh FC till I fix the lights, so I'll be in the Miata or the FD - unless that sells soon.

well I need to get the new suspension on the FC. I dont wanna kill myself with the HKS ones, they are waaaay too stiff. I am actually going to put some front carpet back into it for
comfort reasons, then its the lip kit, refinished wheels, paint, and big ol turbo

Well the results are in, Robin beat me by a full 1.028 seconds.
Of course he was 2 classes above me, with 3x the hp and 4x the torque I have, but i digress.
Get some tires & s'pension and you'll be mopping up the feild.
The only car that I'm annoyed I got beat by was a TRD Scion tC, apparently he could drive the rest of Scionists were at the back of the feild.
