Hey! Yeah..I'm on GRM. Good to see you here!
I'm not doing a 302 swap yet. I have a 12a that I'm going to run to death while I get the car straightened out. After I have it sorted and the 12a dies I'll start thinking about more power.
Parts I need are an ignitor and the center dash console that surrounds the heater controls. After that it's suspension work, sharpening the steering, tires, inspection, etc. Just general stuff to get it trackable and make the $2006 challenge. That's the goal anyway.
Are you still trying to make the Challenge as well? What's your plan? Was it you that bought the Mugen kit car?

Oh, ok. What year of FB - I know the series 2 and series 3 cars are different.
On a somewhat side note, my stepmom has an 83 GSL that she finally wants to get rid of - rear disc, LSD, leather interior, etc. Only thing is that it is red. Hasn't been on the road in 10 years probably.
Yes, I bought the Mugen Civic. Its 50/50 on whether or not I'll take it to the challenge. If nothing else, I might just head down to experience it all again - I haven't been since I competed in 2003.
If you ever want a hand wrenching on the 7, or just want to benchrace and drink some beers, hit me up on AIM at this same name or give me a call - 212-7808.
Laters!

Let me know about the GSL. I have an 85 so all that stuff on their may be of some use.
thanks,

But I'll won't hold my breath for him showing up this sunday, at least not with the 7.

Zach should be there, I'm supposed to be driving his car for a heat. That is if I dont get the bugs worked out of my haltech setup, then I'll have the 'Ol turbo 2 out there running over the cones!
BTW does anyone have a leading coil for sale pretty cheap? I gotta get the car on the road so I can auto-x. It's my birthday too, so any birthday discounts will be accepted

this is for the FD guys
How do I get at the front spark plugs?
(The rear ones were easy.)
I am guessing from underneath, but how exactly?
How did you do it and what tools did you use?
I have jacked the driver side up and put some jackstands there to support it and can get my hand on the front plugs but how the hell you get a socket or any other tool up in there is beyond me.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up. I can't seem to even give this stuff away.
Also, a few pictures from a little trip I just got back from.

Actually I was in California. The first picture is downtown San Francisco (that is the Golden Gate Bridge in the background), the second is Northstar Ski Resort near Lake Tahoe, CA. Amazing place, everyone needs to make it out there at some point.
How was the auto x this past weekend? Did you or zach end up running? I want to stop by sometime soon to see your cars. Do you ever work on them in the evening during the week?
