I spent all evening in anticiapation of winning a set of 13B-RE Cosmo manifolds on eBay. They went up $200 in like, one minute though. I was crushed. So now I'm back to using the FD manifold. Still looks hot, has the bigger TB, nice elbow pipe, etc. The really great thing is though, that I might actually be back on the road and driving my car within the next few months. yey!

jayson - i JUST pulled some bridgestone potenza's off a sc 430 (245/40/18) that still have fairly decent tread on them. the owner is only replacing them because they have a little wear on the inside edge, and he wanted new tires for winter. let me know. they are only getting thrown away if you dont want them.
oh yea, they arent the REALLY nice potenza's. they are runflats as well
edit: give me a call at 647-9824 and ill save them for you

The wheels look pretty sweet, but 18" is gonna be too big for an FC...just doesn't look right.
Speaking of wheels, does anyone have any advise on where to buy 16"x9" or 16"x10" wheels? (for the GTU)

As far as wheels, you should have said something last week. Some 15x 10 and 15 x 12 with new Hoosiers just went on eBay for $800.
Mike - THanks for the find.

Sure did. THANKS A TON!
I did some checking..the sectional tread width of a 245 is 9.65 inches...should be ok. Next time Caddy is down there, I'm gonna get him to hook you up for hooking me up.

Damnit, I'm ready to send my trim and bumpers off for paint, but I forgot I need the DS trim piece.
Jayson, did you do the S5 conversion? I asked before, but do you have what I need?
I'll pay the person who finds me a trim piece One Million Dollars.
In Monopoly money.

Only info I've got is the RB catalog, it has some tips in it but thats about it.
It'd be fun if we could get a really good contingency of RX-7's showing up at the
VMSC events next year. Rob, the guy with the TII, is definetly hooked.

Also, let me look for my carb FC info. Early Euro FC's had distributors, but the 12A dizzy also works pretty well.

Update:
Well I went home for lunch and actually read the Haynes manual. I reset the cold idle and adjusted the throttlebody idle screw so it idles better than ever before - at least while it's hot. Guess I'll see if I adjusted the cold idle when it's time to leave work.
This was WAY easier than expected.

It's continually bouncing back and forth between 1000 rpm and 3000 rpm in the space of about 2 seconds.
Thoughts anyone?
