Richmond VA RX-7 Owners

I'm hoping I'll be able to make it to this one. I ordered a new damper today and it should be here by Friday, meaning it can go in Friday and hopefully be aligned on Saturday or maybe later Friday evening. I'm hoping everything can come together, especially since there are a fair amount of people in STX and I think my new setup will do pretty well (good alignment, coilovers, harness). We'll see though.

I think I'll be on street tires this weekend. The hooters are showing too much cords from my heavy brake foot.
This'll be the last autoX with the ol' 87. Next year I'll be upgraded to an 88! Whoohoo!

I might be hopping on the awd bandwagon this weekend as well. My friend matt with the silver wrx that runs street mod offered me his car. I'm not sure if I'm gonna take him up on it though.

i drove it on snake road (best 2 mile stretch around that i know of) and it did decent. it handles better than my rx7, and it pulls like a bitch out of the turns. they have the power dist. setup really nice in that car. im trying to buy it, but i have no money...

Thats funny, I've downgraded my DD quest to a 89 or 90 325is. Maybe you guys could give me some tips.
I really don't want car payments, but I still want something cool/classic.
Dave, I can't open my hood because there is a lot of top secret stuff under there.
Maybe I'll open it for a couple minutes.
I might be, depends on how long it takes.

You free during the 4th heat again, Zach?

HA! Try 60 hp.
Speaking of talking all the time, I think my progression in DD decision making is funny, and it's all on here:
And most recently:
$4000 to $20,000 to $10,000 and back to $4000.

Ok, now I'm thinking I'll make the GTU a DD.
Ok, so I fix the GTU, sell it, buy your TII, fix it, and that will be my DD.
I had so much fun driving my Dad's A4 that I'm gonna have to get an S4.
...Been looking at A4's, S4's, and M3's.

i just bought donor car for the vert, 87 TII. The vert has been running for awhile but not on the road due to being spoiled after getting used to the power of the 3rd gen. Now driving the NA vert is just depressing so the TII drivetrain should help a bit.
