If i do need a new one, i am going to get the one from that website....umm..i think it was mariahmotorsports....i will try to get out of work so I can go...if not, can i drop the money off to you somewhere? thanks, rob

when are you planning to have a dyno day again? I used to work there at Rosens from time to time whenever they had an RX7 come in. I really need to dyno mine when i finish the new engine (bridgeport) ......3rd gen w/ all the toys (except single turbo, coming this spring) upgraded twins,non-sequential @ 15 psi...... Let me know when.....it should be back together within hte next 2 weeks.

Does the engine need to be broken in? Thats over a weeks worth of driving right there. Anyway, I'd love to hear a BPed 3G on the dyno, even if you embarass us NA guys with some crazy numbers!

David, next time you go to a salvage yard would you mind gettin me 2 front hubs (4 lug)? I don't go to CAP often and it seems they don't have what I want when I go.
I don't know how much they cost, so slap a little extra on there for the trouble.

yeah no problem zach,i coulda picked them up today the had a 86SE at oak hill,no luck with Robs fenders though i went to circle they had a 88 convertible surprised the **** outta me some idiot had smashed the aluminum hood and ripped the rear of the fenders back just to take the doors off, then the others i found were no good, except at russels but he wants a arm and a nut for parts(wanted $60.00 for 1 fender),Ill try again next time im off and pick up those hubs for ya,Hey rob you going to wait on the fenders or you going to try and find them somewhere else?I didnt know how much of a rush you were in to get the car back together.

i saw that vert today at circle. i was all excited because the motor was there, but it has 180k+ on it and it was locked up. there was also a white one that had at least 2 taken apart motors in there ALL OVER THE PLACe. i took one of the n/a housing so i could mess with the diffuser. my dad brought up a good idea, im goign to take it to my shop class and try melting it out with an ocy-acetalene torch. its pretty sweet, we used them last year, just wait till its red hot and it blows the metal right off. im hoping that works. if not, i guess im going to get my dad to take it to work and see.
thanks for letting me come over last night, it was interesting stuff, i actually learned alot and have a better understanding, especially about the oil and cooling system. sorry if my friend paul was annioing, hes just a "hands on" learner, and doesnt know much about them yet.

yea, i was out there around 2:45-4:15. that vert was pretty messed up. i saw the tail lights were missing, thats how i tell s4 from s5, and they were gone. it would be a cool project, but i think that motor is fucked. there was water chilling in the intake, and you couldnt turn it. if it was good i would of pulled it for my motor swap, i had the cash on me oh well.. theres a long road of looking for a cheap, decent 13b.

i just missed you then i left around 1:00 i had already snagged the taillights and it was a 88 you can also tell by the upper intake. If you are just looking for a motor to rebuild they have a complete 86 at oak hill, dont know what condition its in,i was just looking for fenders the front end is no good but did have complete motor and trans.the only thing is oak hill isnt as customer friendly when it comes to pulling a motor they have no lifts like CAR or nothing up on stands its all lying on the ground.

One of these days I'm going to buy some nice carbs for my TR6 and get it up on the dyno for some tuning. No one is allowed to laugh at the numbers...

Well, since the holiday season has made me officially BROKE I will have to postpone the dyno day. Right now I am planning on the 11th (sat). It might be a possibility to do it on the 10th (payday!!!). silver3G, maybe you will be ready by then.
