I have an account off of 141 and the kirkwood hwy....
I just have a question on the money thing.....how would we collect and would we have to prior to the meet....are they open on sundays? etc

The shop is not open on sundays, but they make an exception if you want to have it on a sunday....Saturday would be better though. If we want to rent the dyno for the day then I can collect deposits via paypal, or whatever to ensure I don't lose money on this. If we don't want to rent it for the day then each person can pay individually.
What date were you looking to make this meet? If this location is gonna be set then you might want to start a new "official" thread and make sure people will want to go. You could also post something on the 350z/G35 forum and the Supra forum to increase the turn out.

If you guys really want to have a Dyno Day. I can contact a friend and probably do $65.00-$75.00 an hour or $650.00-$750.00 all day... Let me know

Dwayne, good to hear from you man! It's been a while. I don't care where the meet is. The price is $1000 for the day, so if we can get 10 cars it'll be $100 per car...and that includes setup...if we get more well then it'll be cheaper. The dyno at Car Version2 is a dynopac, which is a little more accurate then a mustang dyno or dynojet.
These guys like to have their day off, so I might have to preform sexual favors or something to get em to open up on sunday.
Jose,
If you look on the site then it'll tell you....but the address is:
420 Century blvd.
Wilmington DE, 19808

OK folks....the date has been set for the 24th of september.. location TBA (more than likely will be in southeastern PA)
but it looks like the majority of folks from the rx8 club want the dyno/bbq...
can we have a roll-call of interested parties?
PS...I am meeting with the owner of the shop to confirm rental, pricing, and other amentities....

If anyone is still interested I'd like to make a suggestion.
There 2 places off the top of my head that are cheaper than the other 2 stated.
And they are in Philly also so it would be basically dead smack center. I guess no longer than an hour to an hour and half from southern parts of NY , eastern/south NJ and northern MD , DE. So basically even distance for all.
First is Philly Dyno Works.
65 Bucks for 4 pulls on a dynojet.
Or Rev it Up Motorsports in the Northeast. I think they can probably match Philly Dyno Works prices.
The only thing is both places just have street parking but we could just bbq at FDR park. But the good news is ,they are both right of I95. Rev it up being right next to the offramp.
Depending on how many want to dyno, etc . We could all meet up at FDR park , really nice park , right next to all the stadiums ,and once again right of I95. BBQ and then go to either place to dyno. Everyone has an easy ride to and back since its back on I95 and home
I dunno maybe its the cheap jew in me but a 100 bucks for 4 pulls is damn expensive atleast 'round these parts.
The sites

Oh just spoke with a friend. Supposedly Philly Dyno even has a bbq for dyno days so yeah it sounds good to me but once again just suggesting. Oh and he said that when they had a DSM dyno day they took 10 bucks off , so 55 bucks for 4 pulls sounds even better.
Regardless if you guys are interested I can get full details from either shop.
Oh and anyone traveling far and wanting to stay the night has plenty of options since every single hotel/branch is right there next to the stadiums , downtown is pretty close for clubbing , etc.
