NYRA Meet 1: Lets discuss (Tentative Sunday June 7 or Saturday June 20)
Everyone,
Whats up i know i been awol been very busy with LIFE as everyone is probably doing the sames during these harsh economics times. Nevertheless i tried to work something out with fellow rotor heads to keep the club going but guess what they are busy as well so lets see if we can work something out collectively.
I propose having the first car meet for NYRA at Bear Mountain State park on Sunday June 7 or Saturday June 20th, 2009, since its the day before fathers day this will give all you fathers a chance to get some car time in before you spend the time with your familys, your fathers or friends etc.
The following weeks there is some races at the tracks and i dont want to impeede anyone wanting to attend those events. So lets gauge some interest for this date.
Directions are posted on the website for all to see with pictures for easy reference.
Additionally i willnot be micro managing this meet so everyone that attends has to come prepared with directions, food, grills etc. In a nutshell be self sufficient.
LEt me know what you guys thinks.
PS My car is up and running thanks to ROB (Robfx), Roan (SpeedNYC) + friends. Good looks guys

Chuch is having a BBQ meet on the 7th in Suffolk so I think alot of people will be there. Might not be a good idea to have a competing meet the same day.

Yo sinned , formula.d is on june.6 (sat.)...and anyway june.7 (sun.) is chuch's bbq party in l.i. ..for all rotaryheads.. Jason (rotaryrocketz) it too was posted in your the nyra forum....you and your crew are more than welcome to come down..

I dont check forums much to be quite honest or read the posts, didnt mean to impose on another meet, just shotting dates. The 20th is fine for me and will give everyone time to hear about it.
