This is just to see whose down for a meet in JUNE. Tell us what weekend you are available so we can try to accomodate all. I was thinking about first or second week of June. Location to be determined.

Hey Jason,

Can you schedule this for the first week in June, as i have the Lake George meet the second weekend in june and there is already a good turnout as far as people who say that they are coming. I just wish we had more guys to drive up to meet the guys in upstate NY.

If this is the first week in june then I am down.

I was actually thinking june 4th would be good. So far the people i talked to said it was good. Just wanted to make sure more people can come. So june 4th sounds good.

I was thinking mayb Flushing Meadows park, they got big parking lots and what not and we can def bbq over there and its easily accessible from all major highways.. Right off Grandcentral parkway or LIE. Van wyck and Interboro (Jackie Robinson link up to GCP). And Whitestone expressway on the other end of GCP which links up to Cross Island.

This one should be great. We had a very nice turnout yesterday even with the confusion and a bad date. So w/ better planning it should eb massive.

Events um nah man. Just park talk meet , converse with fellow rotary headz and if you brought your own food/ or bbq u can do that.

Hey wuz up Jason??? Im down 4 showing up to this meet. Is there a location for it yet???

 

As of right now im looking into flushing meadows park. Ima have to go there soon and scope it out. theres a lot of differnt sections, some are secluded so no one can bother us and some are wide open areas.

I will also be checking out Forest park, astoria park (under triboro bridge, very popular night spot) , and other parks

Hey Jason thats a great parking lot we use to use it for meets 2 yrs back Totally Rotary AC & RDCMotorsports meets too no police problems as long as the hoods stay closed once they saw open hoods they started acting up asking to close them or leave & That was Parks Police & NYPD too. They dont have built in BBQ grills like the Park on sat but we can bring our own. So Im down will try to get my knuckle heads to go & maybe a few more guys from Flatbush that i had met a year back they seemed cool

 

Astoria kinda sucks if you get a big turnout basicly cause it's hard to lock down one spot while in Flushing Meadow & Forest you have alot of space to park at open space as opposed to a vertical line lol

Flushing meadows is a good spot, in all my queens AZN'ness i kno my Flushin & my flushing meadow park! i say we should meet up by all the big missles (the Queens Hall of Science) those are the last lots to get full and anyone who's driving a black TT can do as many Dohnuts as they please ... and you can also see the cars there from the highways ... so people will be like wtF are those all RX's? hell yea ...

w/e im bringing the beer again ... AND CUPS ... fairy's ...
and since some of us live madd close, we can get anything that we totally forgot, like utensils and tinfoil ...

AND since there's no entry fee (like that lame *** STATE park, whosever idea that was) you can use a lil of that 6 dollars to get some gas, get some hotdogs from the supermarket, get some ketchup or ANYTHING ... to bring and share

I ask to be polite but i know they got there own things to do and cant make it half the time!. I told kevin and petey and i saw chuck when we was going . YO if it wasnt for me man i think most of these meets wouldnt go on. I aint tooting my horn but i kinda took on this role after the ROTORFEST CARAVAN. I was tired of people holding meets and not even showing up to THERE MEETS. So dave stop hating dude, u got a dumpling up your a$$

I still love your sandal wearing ***. And its kinda hard for me to play my many roles, and event organizer. IM glad tommy and anil help out alot cuase for this summer, we gonna have massive meets and once we got a nice spot we can call home, we gonna rep it hard.

Whoa guys just relax. We dont need any tension in the rotary world. Dave was just being funny, im sure no harm was meant Jay.

We can all get together and decide on a good spot, just voice your objections respectfully. I apolagize for the parking fee, I wasnt aware when i made the plans. However I think it was a good spot outside of that.

Wherever we decide on the next meet will be even more fun, and(in response to Daves post) I also wanna publicly thank Anil, Jason, Jimmy and whoever else chipped in so that we all could eat.

The next meet Anil isnt paying for nothing, this guy spent an assload of money on food, accessories and even my parking fee. I wont take no for an answer.
