Guys,

I would like to thank everyone for coming out to the meet and experiencing what New York Rotary Association (NYRA) is all about. NYRA is glad to see so much rotaries that came out and had the oppertunity and chance to meet one another. We will have more massive meets and gatherings next year as we are trying to get our club and other things off the ground this year so that we can be better prepared next year.

Please remember that when coming to our meets, its important to contribute to the food list. Those first timers that came to the July 9th meet did not know any better but in future reference, we would appreciate it if you can get ahold of us and find out what you can bring to contribute. This makes the burden less upon Jason, Tommy, and myself (Anil).

I look forward to meeting everyone for the rotorfest caravan and our up and coming Bear Mtn meet.

Yeah what he said...The bear mountain spot should be really nice. I hope you guys in NYC, CT , PA and NJ decide to come up for the meet.

We will be doing our research to find the optimal spot for our gathering. Then we will post up directions on our website, www.nYrotary.com

Not to be mean or anything we need the FD owners to be a little less shy & chat with the rest of the Rotary owners just cause it's and FD doesnt mean it excludes the FB & FC's without us there would be no FD's so at the next meet try to be more sociable. If your into rotaries you have to be into all rotaries we are cut from the same mold the rotary mold

 

If you felt that way maybe you should of talked to the FD owners. I own a FD and I was talking with everyone. So if youre going to make a comment that way maybe you should of taken the initiative and walked over to the FDs and began conversations with us. When I arrived and I came late I walked up to everyone after I stepped out of my FD and introduced myself to everyone.

 

I dont think hes directing it specifically to you i think he meant it towards some FD guys that were there earlier. But it has some truth to it, kinda like how 8 guys dont pay attention too much to 7's guys the FD guys tend to be the same way towards FC and FB's.

But theres no animosity between us guys, i was like a hoe that day talking to everyone that came, i barely sat for more than 2 minutes (and i think thats too long).

Well at the bear mountain meet well all talk =) and socialize a lil more.

We all got rotary'z lets not get like these hondaa nugggaz lloll.

Rotary love .... im working stuff out right now with 8 clubs to have them come to the meets, so pretty soon we might have FB, FC and FD unity but need to work on our RX7 to RX8 connections.

I bet if i bring some R100's, RX-2's, RX-3's and RX-4's, everyone will be talking to them ahhahahahhahhah

Well lets not let this gett outta hand cuz we all dig the cars, cant we all just get along yeah babay

I did but a few of them stayed away from everybody just stood next to their cars & im not the only one who saw that, Maybe i dont remember which one you were but most just stood by their cars & didnt talk to anybody and broke out. there were about 6 or more FD's and i only saw like 2 - 3 talk to the rest of us. And like a true rotary person with manors does, you come in last you dont just stay behind & not introduce your self. Im not Mr Social & i made the effort to talk to guys I spoke to the guy from Astoria with the Silver FD and the Guy with the white FD and one guy who had a blue FD brought from MA but some guys just seemed too into ther FD to mingle & acknowledge the rest of the guys. im not making it a war between the FB,FC's & FD's but Rotary is Rotary and people should not feel they are superior because some of us chose the older models over the FD.... Now i didn't want to make any FD owners get offended it's just so the next time they mingle more cause a few of the guys did notice that most not all FD owners avoided talking to the other FB & FC owners they just spoke to each other or Jason,while everybody else joked & talked about each others rides & plans for the future. So again this wasn't meant as an all out war or to be taken offence to just to let some of the guys know we all share the same love for the rotary & no one is better or superior than the other. It's a forum & opinions are opinions and should be taken in an offensive way it's my opinion of what i saw & i figure if i bring it up next time more people will mingle & talk

 

I did post a responce but like i said it wasnt for anybody to take offence but some of the FD guys just stood away from the rest of the guys I know there were a few & i dont think in my comment I singled anybody out. I figure the ones who didnt talk or introduce themselves should be the ones who would read this post & nextime socialize cause they were the ones who had everybody looking at there car but wouldnt so much as look at the FB's & FC's like the rest of us werent even there hey i told one guy who came in a gold FC who was left in a corner to come & socialize i spoke to like 3-4 FD owners who made time to look around but most were previous FB & FC owners but hey it's my way of opening eyes so people will socialize more so we can someday have those So Fla & Cali type of meets nobody discriminating of the model of your rotary . like Martin Luther King. Wankel had a dream and we are what keeps that dream alive if not for Rotary lovers we'd be driving pistons yuk peuu lol

 

now that i think about it....i didnt talk much though i am a listener. i was talking to few guys about some skyline stuff...but i know i wasnt into my fd because i was mainly lookin at the turbo 2's damn i luv em

Hey Jay your boy knows how to tune Dellortos? I have to put mine back on my 13b but i have to see if the car starts so i can take the motor out & put it in my grey one plus i think i may have moved the main pully and may have moved the timing marks not 100% sure will let you know when i crank the girl next weekend
