Hey Everyone,

We are having another meet on Sunday July 9th.

Our last meet on June 25th got cancelled due to rain. There's no way we are gonna host a meet in the rain with a bunch of rx-7 owners coming knowing that we all have issues with our wiper switches. Also noboby wants to be out in the rain eating BBQ.

Our meet is going to be at the same location at Flushing Meadows Park.

We will have a pre meet between 110st and 111st on Astoria Boulevard. The pre-meet is set up for 11-11:45am. If you are coming to the pre meet and are running late, you need to call myself, jason, or tommy so that we can wait for you.

The actual meet at fushing meadows is set to happen between 12-1pm. We would appreciate it if you are bringing a food related item to come early so that we can put it on the grill and start the cooking process.

We will all drive into the park together from the pre meet and everyone will meet us in the park after that.

Everyone that is attending should be bringing something to contribute food wise. I will be posting a list of food related items that you can bring. If you are going to bring a specific item, please PM me so that I re-post another list and add your name next to that specific item.

We do encourage everyone to tell other rotary owners of the meet and spread the word as the more bigger the meet, the more better.

Jason will furnish directions on another post on this thread later on.

Hope to see a bigger turnout than our 2nd meet which had about 30 rotaries.

lmao half the people i know with rx7's have one speed or no speed lol that would have suck , well hopefully my car will be done and ill be there

on good days my car will have 2 speed and on regular bases it will have 1 speed.. -.-...oh well... so its not raining here rignt now.. lol

Ive tried to get more Nj and CT guys but not many show intrests, but yes our meets are open to anyone with a rotary powered vehicle.

But how about a RELIABLE 1.6 liter vtack engine that can carry people in the backseat??

 

no big blocks allowed. we're keeping this strictly 1.5L and below. haha

it's fine by me if you come. just dont park so close that it gets in any pictures.

 

The boys from TRAC(TotallyRotary Auto Club) are down prob with more cars than the ususal 2 Tim & Hase aka MAxBoost13brx.The Boys of TRAC plan on having a August meet we will give the exact date & are opn to locations we feel obligated to have a rotary meet also cause it seems that it keeps resting on Jason Tommy & Anil to organize them so we plan on helping by contributing to the rotary cause too. We hope we can continue these meets & eventually grow to that of the Cali meets although right now it seems slow going but i feel if we continue we will eventually put ourselves on the map as a rotary state too. Rotaries4Life atleast thats my thought about it. Hey atleast if they decide not to use gas we can still run our cars on hydrogen with the modification lol

NYC is not that far away from albany....took me 2 1/2 hours to go from here to freeport which is out on long island.....
dont hate on us cuz we dont live right in the middle of manhattan....
maybe youll see the light someday
but i enjoy my cheaper gas prices, no emissions regulations, and wide open roads to have fun on with no taxis gettin in the way

and i grew up near nyc so its not like its a foreign place for me

but ill see if i can rally some guys from up here to cruise with me

The next meet ima do it somewhere in between NYC and Albany so that you guys coming from upstate area dont have to put up the bill all the time for the NYC meets. So i told josue, and im letting you know alex. Look something up, a nice lil area to bbq. So keep me posted
