NY/NJ Thursday night meet.
I wanted to start a head count of people who will attend this Thursday night to The Edgewater meet 8/25/11..
I am the KING of not going anywhere and showing up to nothing, so I am making a huge effort to go meet up with the NJ crew so all u lazy bums out there (Fiz-e) get ur cars ready and show up.

Seriously cause people who say they will be at edgewater meet, MIGHT not go cause they have other plans, last minute thing etc, and then you show up and instead of 15 people, only 6 showed up. Which is still cool but you just wasted 10-20 bucks in tolls/gas to see 6 people lol.
On saturday at whiskey, dude, the ENTIRE LOT was filled. About 200 cars. ALL makes. 900hp cars here and there, cars you havent seen in years, cars built by old men lol, not some 20 year old kid that bought the car modded off someone.
Its a controlled environment, its watched by actual staff members to make sure you dont horse around and the people there are cool. People brought beach chairs to sit by their car to talk to people walking by. It was very mature and cool. I cant believe the diversity in cars. ALL makes and models man. Not just your "import" scene we're used to.

Not dissing the people on the attendance list or future attendee's but you're better off gathering the NY to show up at whiskey cafe every saturday.

But IMHO, for you guys it would be worth it to come sat because you're guaranteed to have a BIG turnout pending good weather. I know the NY crew will spend a lot of money to cross the water for a meet, which is why i mentioned the whiskey cafe meet.
There were a couple of rx7 guys that went last saturday. Hopefully they'll chime in and vouch for the huge turnout we had. There was almost no where to park (to those who arrived around 6pm, which starts at 4).
That said, maybe we can get a good rx7 gathering there, since there were in fact only those 2 rx7s lol.

That's great Rob. Sounds like alot of fun. If you try and get people together for that I'll go but right now we are trying to get together for this. I picked a place that was almost mid point between NJ and NY and has a big lot with something to do. Besides, it's fun making fun of the young kids and thier ghetto cars. Now shut up and put your name on the list Rob lol!
I feel like a broken record but meeting up at 10pm on a weekday doesnt do it for me. Im not 21 anymore where i just broke night several times a week lol. I get up at 5am every morning. I need my sleep.
Plus my experience with edgewater meets in the past, made me not wanna go. The amount of cops. Seeing cops give cars tickets as their entered/left the lot. Kids revving engines and doing burnouts. It was fast and furious. lol no thanks
I know you're big on the edgewater meet cause you live across the street man but if the NY crew only had one meet to come to NJ for, let it be the saturday meet lol. Dont ruin it for them lol.
