My 17yr.old daughter moved in with us only she has a Red Nosed Pitbull who is well behaved he has had some training. He has had all of his shots. Problem is I have a 1 yr. old hear who isn't affraid of anything and I'm afraid that the dog (Ridick) will eventually go nuts. If anyone hear know of a non-kill shelter or if someone would take Ridick in as their pet please send me a pm. I really do like Ridick but I'm afraid for my son. I'm not asking for money just a good home...

Ill ask around for you.
Curious though would feel the same way if she came back with a german shepard, golden retriver or any other large breed, Would you still be worried and wanting to get rid of it or is it just because its a pit?

Ever heard anyone say "Rotaries are garbage, they always blow seals"? Its the same thing with pitbulls. Dont belive the BS the media says about them and what your friends say.I volunteer at local shelter and pitbulls get put down all the time due to people being so narrow minded. Give the dog a chance. As long as you properly socialize him you will not have any issues. Just an FYI pits are very loyal and great with kids.

"An rx7 is like a pitbull. There are no bad pitbulls only bad owners. Tuning is key you take care of it and it will take care of you. And just like a pitbull it is not for everybody but to those who love and appreciate them, they will never trade them in for anything else."13btnos
