Got pulled over today on my way home from the bank on 123 by an unmarked 2005-2007 White Mustang GT. I was just driving next to him for about 3 miles not knowing it was an officer. When I got up to a red light i thought I would rip it through 2nd before I get off the main road, so I did. I saw in my rearview the mustang come flying up, and i thought that he wanted to play or something. Then came the blue lights! So I pulled over....and proceded with the usual ticket stuff. After I gave him my license and registration, he told me that I had a nice little sports car and he didn't want to see me dead and told me to have a nice day! NO TICKET!! He also gave me a lecture on needing a front license plate. This is the first time this has ever happened to me, so I didn't really know what to say to him except for thanks and have a nice day. All in all a pretty lucky day I would say.

 

yep, seen him with a few people pulled over on 495 near Tyson's. A ton of new State troopers w/ Dodge Chargers too

 

yea in PWC and fairfax they have some of the most inconspicuouse undercover cars....you can never be too sure who your about to race or flyby anymore

 

There is a Blackone (Mustang GT) in VA hangs around the Mixing Bowl area (495/395 interchange). and a few nice Virginia State Police Chargers (Sexy looking monsters) too. Be low key they hate loud exhaust (Watched a honda get a road inspection while we all merged slowly onto 495 last week)..

 

Glad I don't live in NOVA.

I knew that Fairfax had unmarked Camaros and Chargers but I never knew that they had the Mustangs, at least not unmarked mustangs. They come up with something new all the time with all the extra money the county has I guess.

 

Damn; never knew that they had Mustangs now too.

Seen a couple of the Chargers though, those things are badass.

 

in my dealings across central MD yesterday in the process of getting plates for my motorcycle, I found out at least Anne Arundel county has unmarked BLACK mustang GTs with 40+% tint on the side windows. they even swapped out the bulbs on the grill lights with red and blue. i saw a total of 3 in the same day (all different cars)

and i know Montgomery county has let officers use their personal vehicles. seen a beat up 1992 Dodge Stratus, an inconspic white pickup truck with bed cover screaming down 270 with red and blue flashing.....you never know anymore.

 

Is bad when you are afraid to drive your car becuase of the exaust DB level.

 

Second on the Dodge Charger, black one rolled up on me untill the ricer fly bye.

I had no idea it was a Fairfax cop till I saw her take off after the STI that blew bye us.

fairfax had a unmarked firebird but they ended up painting it like a cop car

 

Yeah down in south southern md Ive seen a few unmarked f boddies rolling around actuly trying to get people to initiate a race so they can pull them over for reckless / speeding / speed competition.

 

I can't say I've seen the new 'Stang 5-0 machine, but I knew they'd get it. ANY newer model domestic is to be taken w/ caution, such as Explorers, Suburbans, Stratus, Impala, Lumina, Charger, Magnum, Camaro, Mustang, etc. I've seen ALL of these in action to date. Sheesh...talk about reminding me of the odds... =-/

 

....then theres the 80's orange camaro thats around the area. at least we dont have like colorado where they have cops driving EVO's trying to blend in as ricers, i would be too tempted to run them off the road.

 

and i thought nova was bad . . .

My buddy just got popped at 100 in a 55 in Loudoun County in his M3. He was busting a U-turn and he took off fast since he sort of cut off a car. An unmarked cop car it turns out.

Yeah, he's got a lawyer, we'll what good that does :/

That sucks but Loudoun County is one of the last places i'd want to speed. You actually see the cops everywhere and they are from the Sheriff's office. Also State Troopers like to patrol that area as well. I work up there and hate trying to avoid them.

 

What the heck is that? Don't even tell me that's an undercover 350Z... I don't see any stickers/markings/lights etc?? You GOTTA be kidding me... Is that a drug seized car, or is it actually highway patrol/enforcement?

Its a 2007, so its unlikely that it was seized. I did however see pictures of an E36 325i convertible that was seized and now used as a FFX county cop car (not unmarked), plates even say "SEIZED"
