Yeah, KC's right. I just registered David and I about a half hour ago. There were only 55 entrants at that point. Remember at Devens, we had close to 150.
Come on Christian, you and Rick will have a blast. Stop being a spectator and jump in the driver's seat. RA can wait. Just remember to walk the course this time. No "OC/DNF's" allowed on the 7th.

Slo, how was Autox at Devens. My roommate said there was a car just like mine, so I'm assuming it was yours. How did the transmission rebuild turnout? And how is RTek 2.0 working out for you? Just wondering, what was the turn around time from the day you sent the ECU into Pocketlogger?

yeah no. i thought you were talking about somthing on the 6th. some school of some sort. i dont know yet if i am working on sunday but if i'm not, i'll probably be up there, racing! the only thing that stopped me at devens was my clutch which is going to hopefully be replaced by this weekend. i'm just waiting for my new one to get here from the dumba**es at rx7store. i ordered it almost 3 weeks ago. stupid thing is, i've already gotten about half of my order. it pisses me off when things don't show up when they are "in stock". anyway, sunday is a must as long as im not working or installing the clutch and suspension.

PM Imp for numbers, or go to his website, www.rallydecals.com (I hope thats where Sean/Shaun/Shawn and David got them )
And don't ge me started on the "in stock" BS I'm going through with another vendor. I ordered parts two months ago that were "in stock"

At least with the numbers/vinyl I do, it's all made to order!

Dave - That was our AE at Devens. Transmission worked well but we only needed 1st and 2nd for the event. It seems like ESP did a good job. Rtek will turn around your ECU the same day that they get it. We were in a hurry so we sent it "overnight early delivery", they got it the next day, turned it around the same day and sent it to us "overnight" so that we had it the next day. You can't beat that. Make sure that you order the "synch" serial cable from them if you don't already have it. They'll toss it in the box with your ECU. We ran the default base map/settings and the car was so strong that we didn't want to mess with it. The tires were our major weak point but it was fun tossing the car around.
Christian - The engine looks like it held up. We need to replace our oil cooler lines though (we have RB stainless lines) before this weekend. Saturday is the Fun Honda's School (that we will miss) and Sunday is the SCCA event that we are going to try to make. We are getting WedsSport TC005 (16x8) rims and Kumho (225/50WR16) V710's on Wednesday so we should stick better (watch it rain). KC is definitely the one to go to for numbers. I also posted the same in another thread. Go to his web site; www.rallydecals.com and get the order in now so that he can just bring them to Loudon for you. I hope that you don't have to work on Sunday and that your car comes together.

My bf and I are going to be attending the Wicked Big (Subaru) Meet at the Nashoba Valley Ski Resort in Westford, MA on May 20th. Just thought I'd throw that out. We'll be hanging out with the Dent Sport Garage guys. If the weather is good, it should be a fun time.

Imp and Slo: Im not sure about this weekend. I need to tie up somethings on my car (Take the LSD out, change some clutches in it; Throw on my Hi-Flow Cat Converter; Throw in my coilovers and upper pillow ball mounts; front and rear sway bar, and front sway bar brace; waiting for my design to be finished for my Number Decal/Magnet) I just ordered the sway bars and hi flow cat and with the way my car was rollin over in the corners, id like to have my suspension all in before i race it again. Ill definatly be at the Veterens Appreciation Event on May 28th Racing.
EastCoastBumps: I'm SM2 937, so they gave me three numbers, so i dont see a problem with yours. (Shameless Invite-I want to see your Car)
EH339: Ill be at the Wicked Big Meet, im just not sure if im gonna bring the RX-7 or the Legacy, since it is a Subaru Meet. But my RX-7 is more impressive then the Legacy so i think i might just bring that. Im going with a bunch of friends.
Goofy: Im not gonna be able to make it this weekend, i have a couple of car shows that im gonna be at in Ct. but we will definatly reschedule.
Christian: give me a call if you need help on the car. im unemployed, so i have nothing better to do.

Hey, anyone looking to buy a 1990 300ZX with a body kit, dvd, navigation, speakers and a young (supposedly replaced in '02) motor and exhaust for $10k? (In RI.)
I met a guy selling his car because he's buying a house and he's hooking me up with a local rotory mechanic, so I'd like to do him a favor.

Thanks for the info on the numbers. I guess I just need an XP. I dont' think I'll have a lot of competiton in that class.
I'll also be going to the WBM. Hopefully I'll be bringing my RX-7, not my WRX. I've set up a cruise for the Worcester area guys. Meet at the Solomon Pond Mall at 9:15.

We won't be able to make the Memorial Day Weekend event at Devens. This weekends event will be our last event until the June events. We'll miss you guys (Christian and Rick) but kick some rotary butt on the 28th. Say a prayer for us that the AE holds up through another event. With the new rubber under us it should be very interesting. David will compete in "SSM2" and I'll compete in "SM2". Hope to see you soon. So I would guess that you'll go to Racing America this Sunday and rip it up, right?
Come on Pete get your car ready! And Dave, how's the engine rebuild coming? If you want to bail on it, I know that Kevin Landers will be looking to accept new jobs toward the end of the month. We've been exchanging emails about him rebuilding "MattB's" 87 TII motor that we bought.

I'm not sitting on my laurels. The only thing thats stopping me from getting the car on the road is parts! Its a waiting game. It will be running the weekend after I recieve all my parts. So, that should be next weekend. But thats what I said nearly a month ago, cuz everything was supposed to be here a month ago.
