when i put my winter car on the road i was talking to the guy i bring my cars to, i about it and he told me the right month . it was going to happen 1-1-08 but they decied to move it later into the year.

Grettings guys. I thought I'd register over here as well since we have some rotary meets coming up this year again. Some of you may remember me as I organized the Cape Cod run last year with the 8's. Well....as much as it could have been "organized" hehe. So this year we are looking to have an even bigger meet. I'm also going to be in contact with Mazda to see if I can score some free goodies for us. The plan as of now is to meet in the begining of May. So stay tuned and again it was nice to meet all of you who made it last year.

David also said that the emissions rules were changing in the fall. He got his information from someone he knows that owns a MA inspection station. The sticker on our AE just expired at the end of December.

When my car failed the guy at the inspection station told me the same thing last year. The current contract with the DEP expires Sept 30th so this makes sense but I haven't actually seen anything documenting this.

Whats Good? Ive had my 7 for about 3yrs and just got on 7club 3 days ago. So far so good. Im a tech at Honda so its nice to hear some real car talk. I do state inspections at the dealership and all dyno and sniffer emissions tests are no more by mid yr. OBD II test only. No more cats!

that mite be a problem, i dont know if you know any thing about carb's but iam going to be throwing a 12a street port in my car, then iam going to side draft it. i just dont want to mess it up and blow the motor.i know you can run it rich and be safe but lean and bam there goes my motor.

i am a ford guy so theres no way id put that motor in my rx. but if i had to put pistons in id put a turbo 2.3l sohc from a mustang in cheap and easy 400+hp
