Haha, found out later that the trailing plugs arent firiing... i am have tried several coils and checked all of the wiring. I can get them to spark, but not a very strong spark, so i am going to get new plugs tomorrow and try again. Hopefully i can get this ignition stuff sorted out quick. could a be timing problems a little bit as well.

Gotta say, haltech stuff is interesting, but it has been a little bit tougher to learn than i expected! I cant seem to lean out my idle afr's without going too lean and stalling out. Last day of working on it before surgery, so i may just get some stock injectors so i can tune idle easier when i get healed.

The thing I never got was why more rotary guys don't use mega squirt.
U can buy a plug and play ecu for around 500.
And with tuner studio have a really good tune in under a hour with ve auto tune .
Then fine tune it if you really want to run it right on the edge.

Quit my night job cause they made me a boss
At the day job and double my work load.
Hazaded lights acting all fucked up on the rx8 pulled the fuse
No flashers now err. Bring the round girl to the shop .
Hope it's just a relay etc..... Wish me luck. I'll plan to come see

I always wanted to try megasquirt ben. I just happend to get my haltech very cheap with a car I bought. The only thing I don't like about megasquirt plug and play is that there's a good chance that the harness is 25 years old. I would still rewire the harness if I used that option. I was just telling luis that he should look into one a couple weeks ago.

I hear you about old wire harnesses...lol I was just throwing it out you never hear about rotarys and ms.
We where having trouble figureing out how to tune the Capri. Just of it stinger(the company who makes all the good parts for a turbo ford 2.3). Started selling a plug and play ms unit called pimp.
I was blown away how easy it's to set up and tune.
He has a video series done in real time from install to finale tune was little over 2 hours.
All the otbere ways took dyno tubing etc etc alot of problems.
I was blown away by the video from start up to finale tune was 40 mins . The auto tune in tuner studio really works.
Another great thing. Say you have a rx8 and wan a do a REW or 20b swap. If u add bungs for the stock sensors and for the mega squirt. U can just cut the control wires for fuel and spark from the stock ecu . You wount throw codes since the ecu thinks its controlling the motor(but it's not)
I know of a few rx8 20bs that pass obd2 inspection this way. One was a p port na carb motor.i know of a few bog block fords that did this too. so they just wired it up with the stock ecu.
If I ever have the money for a turbo rotary swap I'll be doing this.

Got my brakes bled and everything yesterday, New radiator should be arriving today, so i can install it with the taurus fan i got. Then my car will be almost completely ready for inspection! almost a month early though..... it is going to be torture waiting.

Hell yes! Spring is almost here, My Subaru will be gone and i will be daily driving my fc in 2 weeks! Until late april when my 500 Abarth that i ordered gets here. Lets get a meet planned! Sometime in late march. Worcestor area or something.
