accessports run mostly off the shelf tunes, the best bet is a staged open source tune, from any number of shops. Id reccommend East Coast Swappers or EFI Logics in Bethel CT.
The VF34 is your best bet for that kind of numbers, its ball bearing so its gonna spool faster than your stock VF39.
the EJ257 is a fantastic engine, dont get me wrong, but the ringlands arent made to take high horsepower. 300 is MORE than capable on those stock blocks. BUT i warn you, keep a wary eye on your oil level, the 2.5 oil level sensors have a tendency to fail, and then you burn oil out and boom, you have a siezed block, i have three friends who had that happen to their STi's.
you need any help with the car, ive been working on Subies forever.
oh and if youre interested i do have a Accessport V1 thats married to my car, but im hoping to go Open Source soon.

Hurray for subie love!
I have a 01 gc8 for a dd, which i havent really done much to honestly, kyb agx's, springs and thats it actualy. Once the 7's at a point i think i can leave it for a while, i am still planning on a 3.3 swap for the subie, i think that will make the car wayyy more fun than it already is

they're a MASSIVE pain in the *** just so you know :P
they're great stock, but they cant be upgraded well without major cooling issues happening, not to mention, when you do swap them in, youre left with like barely an inch between the block and the rad.
just do a WRX swap :P EJ205, VF34, STi Pinks, Walbro, maybe an FMIC and a Cobb Catback and youll be ready for some funnnn. specially in a GC/GM/GF, best body style evar.
and because im a nitpicking bastard :P you have either a GC4 or GC6, or GM4 or GM6 depending on what youre driving :P GC = Sedan, GM = Coupe, GF = Wagon, 4 = 2.2L, 6 = 2.5, 8 = 2.0L Turbo

I'll proabaly run an ots tune until I can afford another.
Mike that vinshu stuff seems a little too expensive. A downpipe is ~300 dollars and they are charging you 900 bucks for a reconfigured stock ecu. they say 60 flywheel hp. I could spend 1200 and get 60+ whp on an ots tune
maybe I'll just get a v1 ap. All I wanna be able to do is load different maps in
500 bucks just for the protune at efi logics

I always called mine the GC coupe because even though technically I know it was a GM4, people would get confused and think I had a General Motors car!

yeah but a protune is going to be A TON better than anything else. ECS charges 400, Paul is a good tuner too.
go to nasioc Billy, trust me, itll be a million times better than finding new stuff. Theres hundreds of things for sale there, Invidia to Cobb, tons of stuff.
yeah i know still :P im a nit picking bastard :P i have GM8 STi. xD

Andy you going to try to get toyota parts or are you going to upgrade it with a mustang2 or corvette front suspension(sp?) I'm little hung over. My buddy priced out all the parts on his ae86 and it was going to cost him more then double then going with a corvette kit useing all zr1 parts. I fir get the name but it's like moreisson. There know for hot rod fames, one that can Handel there t bucket pulls more g on a skid pad then a gtr. But the make a diy corvette k member that u can use on projects just tell them what width needed.

I was there in my MS3. There was an autocross on Sunday and my RX-7 was already packed with gear so I didn't want to bring it all the way to the Cape full of stuff. I actually wanted to bring it instead of the MS3 because at the time I had a huge crack in the MS3's windshield.

shoulda told me, i had an HKS Carbon Ti Catback i just sold today.
AP is fine damn it Andy! haha im running a custom AP map. is win. but the stock ecu just cant handle what im throwing at it so, we'll see what happens.

yeah you probably should. Gen, know how I said there were a couple over heat scares with the FD? well yesterday i took it out and long story short, whoever put the engine back in the car never tightened the clamps on the coolant hose on the back of the block.. dumped all my coolant on the highway.. lucky i didn't pop that ******* engine.
