i ******* hate dealers they where giving the run around ect ect. any ways i know what my rights are so iam going to have my mechanic do the job and send them the bill. god iam so ******* pissed off.

as a side note i will be buying a tig welder in the next few weeks. so ill be able to weld any thing you want as long as its not aluminum. i can have some one weld that for you. iam buying a miller tig welder setup from a guy at my work. great thing about it is its 120 volt welder so i can weld any where these a house outlet. and if there isnt one i have a power pack that will run it for 30 mins. and belive it or not the welder and tank of gas fits in the trunk of my rx8. iam willing to do any welding and fab work for cost of a six pack and welding wire which is dirt cheap so i mite not even charge that .

so who wants custom turbo headers. also ive been working with carbon fiber and will be willing to make some parts for you guys .

Anybody know where I can get a harness brace? It's like, a bar that goes behind the seats so I can run harnesses around it? Ben could you make something like that? I want it to be bolt in so you would have to weld me a flange on both sides.

 

i think there's a problem with that andy(i suck at names lol) most likely you would want the bar to be close to the floor correct? i believe the bar the straps bolt to should be like shoulder height. i think it has to do with the way the harness would be pulling ie stright down not down slightly and back.

but i could make some thing for you. i would weld a plate to the each side of the car and have them taped. then i would just weld 2 more plates to the ends of the bar . use grade 8 or higher bolts and your done.

i have seen sa's with a plate welded to the hatch area floor with a loop type plate bolted to it. just think of how youd want me to do it and in a few weeks when i get the welder ill do it.

now about my 8picked it up last night drove 5 miles holy **** the exdey stage 1 clutch grabs good. got to the 6th mile check engine light came on. brought the car back found out to day that they forgot to hook up certain wires ect. about to leave soon to get it. again

side note any one know a good place to buy a 20b? i dont need the turbo intake mani exhaust mani. ecu ect ect. more or less a long block .

Yeah since my as will be off the road for at least 5 yeahs ian gonna do a 20b carb super charged swap. Will be under 9k$ if I don't put it in the sa me and yd will have the only 20b fox body Capri.

I've decided not to rebuild and instead just upgrade the turbo.

I'd rather tune the motor on the turbo BEFORE I rebuild it that way I don't blow the new motor while I tune. Than I'll just jerk around with my 300 rwhp until I blow my motor.

The motor uses a glass of water a day, but it starts right up second turn everytime and pulls 18 mmhg of vacuum at idle. It's a strong motor with just a blown coolant seal. I'm not gonna fix what isn't broken.

Nah I'm going a BNR turbo. I'm not replacing the manifold and all that ****. That's too expensive.

Unless anybody knows of a good turbo/manifold combo for ~500$?
