Okay, that's a lie. Lingerie!

hey who was the lawyer thats a member here. i forget his sn. i looked at mass lemon laws and i think the deal has to replace my clutch for free under the lemon law in mass. they told me when i called they didnt have to. i only had the car for like 3 weeks or so.

side note after saying i would have to pay they said it would cost 760$. i called my normal guy i go to he said 380$ and 50$ more if the flywheel needs to be cut. mind you both prices are if i bring them a clutch.

ben, why dont you just do your clutch yourself? its not that big of a job is it? just drop the tranny and do it? even if it took all day it would save you a ton of money.

yeah clutch jobs are pretty easy. well when i say easy, i mean its straight foreward its still a giant pain in the ******* *** tho. dropping a tranny xD especially on a dirt driveway, laying on your back holding it up with your knees and hands. its fun, give it a try xD

lol **** ben if you had fluid in your lungs, then ya could've said somethin and we would've understood. no need to get more sick than you are kid.

Andy, i'm sure ben can do the clutch on his own but he's trying to honor the principle of the lemon law, if it still applies on his car right now. I mean, I'd do the same if I bought a car and 2 days later a tie rod gives out while driving, and that's more serious than a clutch. Sure a tie rod is an easy-as-pie job to do but it's not something that's supposed to go so soon after purchasing especially if you're being told the car is in superb/good running condition.

Hitokiri, I feel for ya man if you have to do all your work on a dirt driveway, that must suck lol should take a couple hundred bucks and lay out a big concrete slab so you got something to work on. plus, it could double as an awesome burnout box

theres a few people who made pport 12a's na and street drove them. just really bad on gas lol. these are just ideas.

iam going to pull the motor this winter if i can find the cash to buy the engine stand bracket. clean the engine bay and stirp the car. maybe add the cage if i have the spare cash. and fix the body.

He specializes in trannys but does it all. I think he mentioned that he had (back in the day) a FC and rebuilt the tranny and put in a aftermarket clutch in it. He tends to give me and the friends i have refer a low price, even lower for cash.

As for the possible vacuum leak, I haven't had time to look into it, I have had to use my other car (rain and family errands), I think I am very close to turning in the plates for the winter on the FD.

Lemon law applies to getting your car inspected. If you can't get your car a sticker than you can invoke the lemon law.

You should have gotten a warranty from where you bough the car, that is where you can apply the clutch labor. It's a mandatory 1 month warranty for any car with 80k or less. I believe it's 3 months for cars under 50k?

under mass lemon law iam covered. if the car is 3 years old or less its a 90 day, does not not matter mileage. if under 3 years old 90 day . if older then 3 years under 80,000 30, under 50,000 60day. any thing that is unsafe or inhibits driveablitly(sp?) they have to fix in the time frame. but there is a loop hole for them if they just say they want to buy the car back and you say no they dont have to fix it.

when i called they just put some **** tard who quotes on the phone all day. i brought up the lemon law and he said its not covered cause its a wearable item ect. and told me if i bring them a clutch it be 760$ **** that ****.thought i was some rich *** kid. little do they know i work hard for my cash and i dont take ****. i called my mom who works for the state in the same building as the da. they told her under the mass lemon law any thing that inhibits the driveablity of the car they have to fix.

my step dad called for me today saying hes my lawyer, i was on the line with him omg they folded. they tried to say it was my fault the clutch went cause iam new to it. he replied ive been driving a clutch for 3 years and race a rx7.then thedealer said to our records it had a new clutch installed before it left the lot. my step dad said in reply you never told him that, so if its true that why the clutch went so fast since he didn't know. "but thats not true sinc ei have all the records and they just did a tune up ect" and i asked about the clutch and he said its the stock one ect ect ect.

they folded and should be doing the work this weekend unless i get a rental. now i just need to figure out if they will in stall the exedy clutch i got and if i can get them to pay me for it. i think they will have to since they lied to me at first ect. then i placed my order.

if the car was not so new. id be having a party with you guys with beer ect and install it with some of you.
