Dude I buy all my tools at Wal-Mart. I have nothing special that you can't get yourself. No excuses.

I work on wooden ramps I made out of a pallet. No garage to work in, I just lay in puddles and use shitty jackstands with no flashlight.

Was that the t04b compressor housing in the for sale section? That's not the whole turbo I don't think, just the front half.

Yeah, and I make 1/3 of what you make an hour with 1/3 of the bills. Fair is fair. That's why I buy my cars and parts straight cash.

The way I look at it is cars are not only power to weight but also power to cost.

I make $4,000 cars run 14s.
Some people buy $20,000 cars to run 13s.

Personal preference.

And if I wanted your Legacy I could buy it out from under you right now. It's too bad law school costs so much nowadays so I have been saving since I was 16. I've got a couple of CDs that total probably well over 30k. All my money. No inheritances or anything. If there is one thing I'm good at, it's saving and making money.

If you would like to continue this stop by my house Jeff, I'm going to be outside wrenching on my day off in this beautiful weather.

What the ****? Where? Hahah you are copying me and Jeff!

I just gutted my interior, I'm going to roll around in a daily driven bare bones FC chassis. LOL.

I took off each plug, wire, and checked coils. It's not any of those three. I may be a troubleshooting noob but I still feel like the injectors are atleast part of the problem, if not the whole thing. I need to check continuity at the mess that I call my ECU wiring.

Since that T04B has 8 fins, it is a V-Trim compressor wheel. Any idea what flange it has on it? Is it a hybrid turbo meant for a 2nd gen's proprietary flange or is it a T3/T4 footprint? Also, it has no nipple for a vacuum source from the compressor side of the turbo, you will have to drill and tap one. Good deal Ben!

the mounting flange is a t4.

the nipple you talking about, you mean the one you would use for a boost gauge/ waste gate.

think you guys could help me find a place to get a rebuild kit from. i work in a machine shop so i have all the to check and make it in spec.

when i get it in the mail ill take a few pics and tell me what info you need to know to help me find a rebuild kit.

so how much hp do you guys think ill make, mild street port 10 psi.

Yes the nipple on the turbo outlet needs to be drilled and tapped so you can screw on a vacuum nipple so the external wastegate knows when to open. The boost gauge nipple needs to be taken from the block somewhere after the throttle body. I'm talking EFI here I know nothing about Carbs.

An s5 tii streetport with that turbo at 10psi will make over 300bhp. That turbo looks to be the equivalent of a BNR Stage 2 which makes 340 rwhp at 15 psi.

The same thing I do every friday. Wake up late, eat a lot, wrench, do nothing, chill, party at night, maybe go to the dragway. Just enjoy being 20 years old!

I don't, it's fairly creative and it is an acronymn that you can say. New England Street Performance.

Jeff spikes to the setting of 22psi when he installs his wack *** manual boost controller too. Izzy when am I tuning your car? I can tune fuel and boost but I can't tune timing for the life of me. I need the practice, care to offer your motor?
