I just ordered my a couple items for my sti swap a new 06 sti manifold, 06 TMIC, 06 Turbo Inlet hose, so soon as those come in i can attach any garrett turbo i like. Im looking at a GT28 or GT30. something that will go faster than 12's.

haha, yeah, your car isnt realy that heavy jeff. suby's are generaly pretty damn light cars. my parents forester is less than 3100 lbs.

so pumped spent 5 hours sunday installing a radio in my car. then realized all my speakers are blown. went to the store and bought 2 6x9's and 2 boxes for them. i dont care that i only have 2 speakers behind my seats at least i have tunes.

2 rear 4 inch speakers, ones blown, just put a mp3 player in a week ago. I didn't bother to wire up the front speakers because I know how bad they are .

 

yeah, the molding will go on soon. im hoping to work on my painting skills so i can install the s5 bumpers and molding that i have and plug up the holes for the wing correctly and paint the whole car.

 

i saw a red fc with s5 tails today when i was bike riding. i saw it from a distance but it was in Lancaster ma. at an ice cream place. it also had some nice looking rims on it.

 

what do you guys think of getting a stock turbo ported and polished on the exhaust and intake side? I found some one who can do it for $200 and they will loan me a new turbo while im waiting for the services to be completed.

 

Anyone know of a reliable (yeah, don't laugh, I mean it) FC in the $3k range? Preferably with back seats, otherwise just need one that won't break down on me.

 

back seats will be hard to find. dont tell me you want them to use. cause a baby would barley fit in them. 4 seater rx7's are worse then a Audi TT.

 

I owned a 4-seater FC. It's not so bad so long as you're not overweight and 6' tall. It's not for me anyway; it's for a friend and she's ******* demanding back seats. I'm trying to tell her she should make someone else drive if there's more than three people to move. She'll budge on the issue anyway if it's her only hope.

hey guys. tell me what think of my idea. i plan to make a box to fill my hatch area. iam gonna have my 2 6x9's and 2 10 inch subs. the 6x9's are going to be facing the back of the seats and the subs pointing up. that should only take up the space in font of the spare tire well to the seats. then in the rest of the box iam going to use to hold stuff in tools ect ect. the speakers will be sealed off from this i know how to make speaker boxes. the top of the box will 3 inches or so below the bottom of the glass so it will not effect my rear view. iam going to have a ligt up door to get to the storage bin. sooooooooooo when you look in from the glass your just going to see a flat deck and two subs near the seat. you think this would be nicer then just have a speaker/sub box near my seat and stuff out in the open bouncing around. o yeah iam going to wrap it in carbon fiber or textured rap like on guitar amps.
