I'm almost done building the intercooler sprayer for my car. i have the nozels i made in place and the tank. and i just have to wire up the button. This should help keep my topmount cooler until i can afford to build my v-mount setup.

nice! i'm just waiting to be able to afford an ebay intercooler and come pipes. i can build the radiator mounts pretty easy i think, and ford taurus fans are easy to get. i just need to learn how to wire the fan.

Hey Gen, what the gas mileage on the suby?

 

2.5l gets about 29 mpg.

 

so my fuse for my gauge cluster keeps blowing. not sure why. so all of a sudden i have no rpm's fuel or heat gauges, and most importantly! no stock boost gauge! any ideas what might be happening? i know its a short. but any guesses where?

honestly, its not 29 mpg :P
around town i see about 22 mpg and on the highway its about 28 mpg. its pretty good. not amazing but good.

 

i know exactly what it is.

jack the car up on the drivers side.
shimmy underneath so you can get at the transmission.
look on the left side of the tranny, there is a cylindrical sensor with 4 wires on it coming off it facing the back of the car.
one of the wires is probaly touching the metal part of the sensor or one of the other wires.
let me know if that was the problem.

I know exactly the wires you mean christian, i'll jack the car up and check it out in a little while and let you know if that was it.

this has happened on my car and christians and its probly your problem. if the wire broke right at the sensor its ridiculously hard to solder back.

i just rewired my reverse light sensor to a light switch which is secretly hidden by my passenger seat in plain sight.

if i could give you payments i would buy it gen. but i would need a loan to pay in full right now that is. iam gonna try and save up the cash, if you still have it ill buy it.

o yeah went to my buddy's Sunday after noon when i got back. i went in my rx7 and he took me to this road/ roads like 5-7 miles longs. omg it should really not be a road but a rally track. i was drifting on all the turns going up hill i was only doing 30 mph lol. at one point i had to pull over to check my pants. then 3 wrx sti's flew by doing close to 60 mph. i cant wait to go back to my buddy's place in nh to hit that road again. now that i know it i wont slow down so much at the top of hill's. then on my way home my alt **** the bed and had to be towed home 76 miles. the tow truck driver had his wife and she was kissing him the whole time.

if you guys where not so afaird of messing up your rx7's id say come join me. this is the main reason i want a awd car just for this road/roads.
