i'll be there on tomorrow, i need some serious help with Grounding, Two major things i want to solve, one being the interior lights and door sensor (the fuze is suposed to be a 7.5 and i found a 20 in there when i checked for blown fuzes) and the rear wiper works i found out - but that fuze keeps blowing too, also i want to find out about how to remove the injectors so i can send them off to be cleaned.

Well I just bought a 1988 SE (bone stock) from an ex-navy seal. I'm interested in meeting up with other people around the Rockville/MD/VA area. Also... I've read that you guys meet up at the 355 IHOP.... it's about 5-10 minutes away from my house. Count me in next time!
The reason I came here is because I meet a guy at Randolph Beer and Wine and he was totally cool and told me to come to this board. I forget his name... but he said he had a yellow third gen with a turbo. I think he said "EffinRX7" was his nick on the board.

does anyone have or know of someone that has one of those laser thermometer? anyone can use it but mostly HVAC folks use it to check coolant and gas lines from a distance and without having to touch anything.
i need to take a couple readings for my next project and for my exhaust.

awesome.
Tenacious - you have a couple? why do you need "a couple"? in case one breaks down or something? =).
I need to know how hot my cat is on an average day of driving. One of the things i can't do with my replacement exhaust is park on grass since i have no heat shield. I'm going to need to fab something up in case i go to a car show or go to summit point again.
Even after i got my car back from Kearney's, they were real adamant about me parking on grass, leaves.. basically anything non-asphalt. =).

Coke - glad you're trying to get some future plans in place. But if we're all going to meet on the 25th (hopefully) do you think it might be a little close together?
Also remember that the next "big thing" happening is the Civil War drift event at Cal Ripken Stadium. I believe that the event is on October 10th (Sunday). You could try to get everyone to meet there. I'll be there.
Can you make it out on the 25th?

A friend of mine helped us get back to the paddock/staging area so we got to hang around the drift folks. Really fun - got a couple free rides during practice. If you plan on going but not sure if you want to stay for the whole time, make sure you stay for the middle to the end. The beginning is usually warm-ups and time trials and stuff but the good stuff is in the middle and the crazy stuff happens at the end.
I work in Timonium, so White Marsh after work is just a hop on the beltway for me.

Yeah, quite a few of us were at the Drift Showoff.... Jinx, Blueskaterboy, Maxjenius, NeptuneRX, PhatFC, ErictheDead, Su_Maverick and myself were parked near the collection of 7s closest to the track (We were all camped out Jinx's old VW bus)..... lol, if you happened to see it, I was the black guy riding the REALLY low black pocketbike... I was trying to get the other guy with one to race me, but he wouldn't come near me so we could talk... XD
Anyway, gotta agree with you about times to hang around at events..... we stayed from the beginning to the middle, and everyone got bored so they all decided to leave for the hotel we rented for some of us..... Heard that we missed a HELL of a lot at the end, and all I ended up doing was enjoying a cool hotel room and keeping an eye on Neil in his blitzed state..... LoL, he got TRASHED in Margaritaville....
