REMINDER:

Open call to all who want to come this saturday to the new Air&Space Museum out at Dulles Annex. let me or tofuball know if you want to join us. LOTS of engines and turbos on display. even see the small plane that uses a honda civic engine. also IMAX movie of a fighter pilot WITH a 5 minute Demo on IMAX sound capabilities (demo alone was worth it)

for reference, museum is free admission but its $12 per car for parking so carpooling IS prefered to help cut cost, and then extra money for flight simulator (motion sim..not a real flight sim) or IMAX. there is a Subway restaurant in the museum for foodage.

What time are you going? I work overnight Friday but hopefully will get done at a reasonable hour. I'd like to see the new setup - haven't seen anything since about the 8th grade field trip to the Smithsonian A&S setup downtown.

this wouldnt be till like noon or 1 most likely.
this is a lot different setup than the A&S museum downtown. think of pretty much a giant hangar full of planes.

more clarification

http://www.nasm.si.edu/exhibitions/gal103/gal103.html

the flight simulator ride shown here is NOT at the museum (at least not when i was there 2 weeks ago) it WAS when it opened and i hope they bring it back cuz i was told firsthand it was a LOT of fun (you can do full 360 rolls in it instead of just tilt around on a gimble)

yeah...boredom at work is the lovely difference between offices and retail.

get out of retail as fast as you possibly can...for your own sanity.

i worked at Best Buy for a bit. My ethics and their "rape the customer for all their worth" policies dint go together.

im normally a network admin but i needed money bad after last company i worked for went under so im working member services for a nonprofit till i get my BIG job with the govt this summer.

moral: working retail is only good for the discounts....everything else SUX.

Yep, former Blockbuster Video employee here.... it was fun getting 5 free rentals a week, but soon that job just took it's toll on me....

Needless to say, I made it a VERY "unhappy" Blockbuster night for a few customers before I quit....

Back on the tint thing - my buddy Ryan at Catonsville Ziebart does GREAT tint as well as custom vinyl. For some that may be closer than Rockville. Highly recommended.

well if you have the time to have it in rockville...Hot tint does some UNGODLY good work. they will redo your entire interior from scratch if you want them to with custom EVERYTHING. the guy there can wire ANYTHING super-professionally and prob too fast for you to follow along to. Also great place to get aftermarket parts.

yes..find other places around the state that have good reps also....give people options

So, I just installed my SuperAFC and now, above 3800rpm, at any amount of part throttle, the engine goes like it's misfiring. I think I might have to reset my TPS, but is there anything else I should be checking?

~going to post this in SuperAFC forum as well.

suds.

I don't happen to remember a precision tune nearby, but that might be old age

Somebody keyed my car last night. I'm PISSED. Just one quarter panel, not the whole side, but DAMN IT, that paint was factory and pretty damn good.
