Maryland guys!
As always, these trips are really about getting together with other rotary enthusiasts . You are welcome to come regardless of your car situation. Naturally, we prefer to ride with rx7s and other rotaries but use whatever you need to get yourself there. If you don't feel like driving what you bring, you can even hop around during the cruise and ride passenger if there are seats available.
Cruise thread is up ->https://www.rx7club.com/ne-rx-7-foru...013-a-1048263/

We all have our cars go down from time to time, it's the nature of the beast and we all understand the pain. The worst thing you could do is stay home because of it and not come out to enjoy the camaraderie
Hi, everyone. My FD is pulling to the right. What alignment shops in the Washington DC area do you trust for an alignment?
The road trip sounds like fun...Can't take both my wife and son, though. Maybe when he's a little older we could do it.

I go to York automotive in Mt. Airy (MD).... it's also decently far, but he's pretty cheap and is a million time road racing champion and knows his stuff. He can also corner balance it at the same time (if you have coil overs)
I run a shop in Gaithersburg MD and I can align it for you. 79.99.
Hello guys! I am in the Baltimore / Towson area. I HAD a beautiful '91 vert that got wrecked. I will get another one (3rd) in time.
Anyway, would anyone in the area be interested in buying a set of Brand NEW KYB Adjustable AGX shocks and/or a Brand NEW set of Intrax springs for the FC? I never got to install this set up before the wreck!!
I just sold a set of NEW 18" HP Racing Evo mesh wheels locally. I really wish I could have posted to classifieds here or saw this thread before selling, because I would have loved to sell those wheels to a RX-7 owner.

That sounds pretty delicious. I'd be down.
Hey guys, I have a couple of questions about registering my FC here (finally!) and I wanted to get your opinions. I'm bringing up my 88 SE (mildly modded but loud as hell) and this will be my daily driver. Here is what I've done/what was already done:
Rebuilt Motor w/Atkins Seals
-Slightly ported Primaries
-Aux (5th & 6thport) and Exhaust Sleeves Removed
-Headers, Cat removed, Resonator(I think)and 2.5" exhaust (1pipe - done by previous Owner)
- I Premix but do have Oil Metering Pump
So with that being said here are my questions:
1st off, is it beneficial to register it in historic or should I just register it the normal way?
b) if I do the historic tags, do the police actually care if you drive it daily (I live in Montgomery County)?
c) If I do get the normal tags, do you guys think I could pass emmissions?
d) any suggestions?
thanks for your help guys

Selfish ****** doing that very nearly cost us the historic plates last year. When one too many Liberal legislators (the only kind in People's Republik of Marylandistan) sees a historic-tagged 1989 rolling-shitbox Camry ever day on their way to work, it's only a matter of time before they are gone for everybody. Please don't contribute to costing us the historic plates. Many, many RX-7 owners of all generations will be royally pissed when they have to pass emissions and pay full registration to register weekend toys.
c) No way it will pass without a catalytic. With a proper catalytic and assuming the tune is stock or not aggressive, it could pass.
Thanks. I do like loud but I' m sure my neighbors won't
I remember that - I too was a lil ticked when I heard about it.
besides the mods I mentioned I do have a SuperAFC that I use to lean out the a/f ratio but not much. As for the cat I definitely don't have... guess I should look around for one
b) If you register it as historic and daily drive it, I will care very strongly.
