You have to educate yourself so you don't get taken advantage of by cops
http://www.mva.maryland.gov/About-MV.../58000-04T.htm
that explains how historic vehicles are not susceptible to SEROs (safety equipment repair orders)

My Pittbull mix dog is banned there... I'd have to register my extensive gun collection. I'd bet that they'd make me get rid of the AK-47s and the AR-15 too...
Then you've got Montgomery County, where there's a cop at every intersection up and down Georgia Ave, Wisconsin Ave, Connecticut Ave... How're y'all liking those red light and speed cameras.
Decent house will cost a half million dollars, and it'll have a HOA that'll tell you you can't work on your cars in the driveway that you paid for. Taxes are higher too.
I think I'll stick with Virginia.
Never had to boil my water due to a water main problem.
I think my power was out all of 30 sec within the past 4 years. How're you liking that BGE and Pepco customers?
What's gay about Virginia again?
You just have to know how to look out for cops and not rely on your radar detectors. (Which don't help for a vehicle pacing you, Instant On RADAR, LIDAR, or VASCAR.)
I won't say how often I speed or by how much I exceed speed limits, but I live here, so it's a significant portion of the time.
I was considering coming to one of your meet-ups to see what the Md group is like, but I don't want to get ragged on bout how much Va traffic laws suck. It is true, a lot of them are effed up. But, I can still drive in Md if I want. You have to live there...
One other plus that Md has over Va is that in 2013 I wouldn't have to run emissions anymore on my Fd. In Va I have to wait till 2018.
Still not sure if that would make me want to move to Md, but it is tempting...

Every time I've gotten pulled over in Maryland, I've been given a fine that the cop made up. When I go to court, there's a schedule of fines that lists a much lower penalty.
They don't have vehicle inspections... Not too fun when someone with no brakes plows into the rear end of your vehicle.

Yup... PG county. Only place in Maryland I can afford, yet the only place I wouldn't live if they paid me to.

You must be doing something else. I've never gotten a ticket for 10 over... In fact, I haven't gotten a ticket in Northern Virginia for almost 7 years now.

No way I would live in Maryland. At least we know what the fines are for violating the traffic laws in Virginia.

So.. anyone want to buy a 87 FC with a RE-A hood? I will also transfer over my SUPER creative "13B" plates if you want.
I leave march 16th for basic training. My dad is not too keen on having to take care of a rotary and my SRT... soooo one must go.

Someone will probably go "eff that".. but im lookin for 1k with the RE-A hood left on, uninstalled flush hoodpins and a free oil change waiting in the back seat! lol
I still have a pretty much complete RE-A/Tamon body kit to get rid of or put in storage.

It costs $16.
They take about 15 minutes to jack the car up and see if the brakes are still good, check balljoints and tie rods, and make sure the lights work.
If I still had emissions on any of my vehicles, I'd get it done at the same time as I do those... But I haven't done an emissions test since I was daily driving the black truck back in 2006.

storage isnt worth it I dont think. I am putting the Neon into storage already and the SRT is enough work to get ready in 24 days. I just have to let it go and perhaps... wherever I get stationed... pick up another one.

My 7 had 80K miles when i purchased her last Feb. Down in laurel at that. And its got a rare paint job too. Flat black MWAHAHAHA lol. And she is gonna be a lot diff too. Going FI soon. Have everything but the TB, Injectors and Pump. And im also doin a lill mod by adapting the 3rd gen twin trubo setup on the 12A. The 7 has a lot more potential i would think. But what do i know.....Other than how to kill a mustang(took two times to do that) lol. My amazing rant....Or was it.....TBC
