if i can squeeze in time and money..i should be getting the supra engine ready for implantation in a few weeks (works gonna screw up my repair schedule...prob work on weekends all day if i can). BUT if all goes well...i'll be able to upgrade clutch and/or flywheel to sports/lightweight by the time i get to that step.
in other news..my truck should be a LOT quieter when i get it back from the shop. i had blown the front oil seal OUT of my differential. hence the loud turbine sound (those that followed me know what this sound was :-p)

Thankfully I knew it was going, so the temp didn't go above half-way before I got it off the road.

The water pump had been leaking the entire time since I got it inspected (they noted it in the inspection) so I knew I was living on borrowed time...but I'd heard and read that getting the rotary motors too hot was a death-knell so I stopped QUICK! It should be back on the road middle of next week - just in time to NOT drive it in the snow Ahh well - guess I spend my christmas money on new front tires for the van after all !!

NOTE to all who come down to Johns. DO NOT drive on the grass anymore until further notice. grass is getting torn up this time of year. if you need to...work it out with john to see if it can be done then or not.
better rephrase...try and park on the driveway or slightly to the side of it...dont expect to drive and park everyones car behind the garage like in the summer.
other than that i am going to try and make it out to the garage on tuesday...prob wont be there til 7'ish and i most likely wont be coming out to dinner anymore as my new job has me waking up at 6am from now on.

You missed a spot, one that should come before any of the other steps.. or at least before several pieces of step 1:
step 0.5: receive, build, and install the techedge wideband O2 controller and sensor.
