hokay dokey, the '88 is running and registered for the next 30 days. I got it out on the road and drove it today but it didn't feel right at all. it pretty much felt like driving a lead sled with a motorcycle engine. no performance what-so-ever. so, short of a rebuild what can i do?

Wow, I don't check the forum for a few days and I missed some serious drama! Well glad to see it all got worked out. (mostly)...

YF, I can take measurements of that lip for you with pictures as a diagram to show the dimensions. Lemme know if that would help.

Just thought I'd give you an update on the lip rebuild.

Finished with the majority of the glass work. Ready for bondo.

Bondo time!

And sanded smooth ready for bondo coat two.

Thats all for now.

~Dan

Uhh.... use your imagination... the images won't work.

that's weird... they show up on my screen. Does it give you red x's or something? For some reason it won't let me upload the pics on the rx7 page so I had to link to a free webhost.

I think you and jason are talking about 2 differnt things

you want to get the paint off your mirrors (where there is actually supposed to be paint)

and jason wants to get paint off the actual mirror part of the mirror
