hey, at least it weighs less than 3000 lbs, and gets around 40mpg (with the AC off on the highway).. and it can carry large objects... such as engines for example....

Those are the reasons I got it anyway.

I don't like big heavy cars.... if it's over 2800 lbs I'm not interested (unless it's an STi )

I swear the vibe's lack of weight and small size has allowed me to traffic-own cars you'd not expect it to own.

traffic-own == I weave in and out of traffic a bit and lose him; I did this coming home from work on that ramp coming from baltimore to get to rte 1 towards College Park going from 95 south to 495... he was in an evo and was trying to go around a car carrier on the left, and I went around the carrier on the right, and hit the turn going about 80... and slowed down to maybe 45-50... at the end of the turn the evo was on my tail, but then I floored it (already in 2nd gear b/c of heel-toe at the turn's entrance) and weaved in and out of about 7 or 8 cars... when he got up to the traffic light he gave me the thumbs up

I don't do it often because it's not very safe, but that time it was irresistable, and the body roll on the vibe when I did it had to have been humorous.... the tires kept threatening to let go, but didn't... (they were complaining like crazy though).

It's a great daily driver, which is the point I was making... great gas mileage, handles decent, carries all kinda crap, and it's light...

All I was saying was that I don't like heavy cars.... and I think the cars I own/will own prove that (soon to be S4 gxl [don't know what it weighs but I doubt it's any more than my vibe] when I have the cash, 1985 Toyota Corolla GTS [2400 lbs], 2005 Pontiac Vibe [2700 lbs])...

Call me a fanatic but I really don't enjoy driving anything thats not a mazda. At one point in time I contemplated moving to Cali to seek an internship with Mazda NA but I already hate MD's emissions standards so Cali would only **** me off that much more. Taking up permanent residency in Hiroshima doesn't work for me either so Mazda HQ is out. So since I won't be designing or test driving any vehicles for Mazda I'll atleast keep my money in the family. I've only purchased one vehicle in my life that wasn't a Mazda and that was a 93 Ford Probe (aka 626/MX-6) though in my previous line of work I've driven almost every car reasonably possible.

at least get something with better mileage as your daily driver

It's not mazda I have something against it's the large pig of a car that the 6 is...

I like mazda, right now I think they have the best affordable cars on the market... In fact, I contemplated getting a mazda 3 wagon, but b/c my stepfather works at the dealer where I got the vibe, I got it for $5000 less than invoice... which was hard to pass up considering.

Yeah that would be a good selling point but I don't know. Properly operating Mazda's just have a different feel to them then any other car out there to me. Not necessarily a oneness like in an FD but I've never been disappointed by a well a maintained mazda. And they all look unique despite just being cars like every other one out there.

Yea, definately gettin that mazda tatt next summer

Dude, you need fourty of those.

nothing like 400% more power!

Combine that with fifty turbonators (x3000% more power!) and five K&N filters (50% more power) if you started with a lowly 220RWHP, you'll now have . . . 39600RWHP!!!! Now you can race the neighbor kid's Yugo!

And you'll be getting infinitybillion miles per-gallon!!!!

Ok, change of plans...I won't be using anything off this parted out S4 T2...soooo...

Anyone who needs absolutely anything off an S4 T2 that is coming on Sunday, bring money. EVERYTHING is for sale. Grey interior, 98k engine, S4 turbo/manifold (some play), Greddy Full Auto tRmer w/ Turbo Timer Harness, Apexi SAFC-2, Apexi AVC-R limited edition, S4 T2 rims, an off brand set with no tread (16", drift suited), and bunch of other stuff, including a primered S5 bumper with NO impuritys.

Also for sale, if you feel like bringing a buttload of cash OR a check with you - is a 1988 RX7 T2. Engine is perfect, S5 Turbo w/ manifold with ZERO!! I repeat, ZERO play, it has a few rust issues on the fenders, primered and painted over. The main problem with the car is it has a bad electrical issue, and I can't fix it. BLACK interior, 5-Spoke 17" Chrome Rims (American Racing), brand new tires. Paint is a deep blue and is GREAT looking. Full Racing Beat 3" turbo-back. This car HAULED *** before it just..stopped having any electricity at all. $1300 obo

Moving down the list..
For sale also is a 1988 RX7 GTU, 44k ORIGINAL MILES, Perfect engine, it takes one crank to turn over, NO flooding, hotstart issues, never has to be revved to keep running, has never STALLED unless you take you're foot off the clutch with it in gear Lol. The paint is oxidized to the extreme, and there is rust forming on the driver-side door. Car runs PERFECTLY. The biggest issue I can see..there is no exhaust right now. I have the Y-pipe, cats, and stock mufflers in my garage, but a stud broke off one of the precats, and the main muffler -.-. So..perfect time for headers! Yes! $2100 obo

Yes, I know, this is odd all of a sudden, but, these 3 HAVE to go, as I..well, let's just say I'm making a new investment.
