Interesting that it's used in Naruto. I haven't watched any Naruto - doesn't really interest me.

But what's the chance of the EXACT same movements and hits being used on two different shows?

While everything is going smoothly in my project of converting a auto FC to a manual. I came to a interesting idea at 4:30am. Because of the time I have decided to post it so A) I know what the hell it was I was thinking
B) If it will actually werk
So ...
when converting you are supposed to swap out the rear end. I have been told many a time to take out the whole diff housing and all and swap with a manual one. NA or not.
Now I propose unto thee. Why can I not simply change out the diff?

I'm pretty sure the differential itself is the same other than that, but it's a hell of a lot easier to change the whole diff than just the gears. If you're going to, the easiest way is to drop the whole rear subframe so you can access the front differential mount. It takes an act of god to get to the bolts unless you feel like cutting the floor out of the car.
That being said, make sure you are putting in a diff from the same model - turbo and NA axles are different, as is the pinion flange (it's nice if the driveshaft will bolt up).
It's too early.. did this make any sense?

You are totally correct.
It is FAR easier to replace the whole assembly.
Also, theres 4.33 gears, as well as a host of different vLSDs, cLSDs and Torsens
Swapping the carrier out is a lot easier then swapping gears
I have a whole 4.10 differential if you want it.

4.33's were only in the GTUs weren't they? I'm no encyclopedia, I just read it somewhere. I've also read that the S4 LSD was a clutch and the S5 was a viscous LSD type that can't (or can't easily) be rebuilt.
One other thing I've read is that you can use a TII diff in an FD - something I'd like to try because they're stronger by bevery account I've heard. I'd also rather have a 3.90 rear than a 4.10 rear because the torque hits so low in the powerband in my car. It's not that big of a difference, but it would help a little.

pics of my borla xr-1 oval midpipe we welded in last night. Changes the sound of the car from a "Japanese" car sound to a more exotic ferrari rumble. I basically just cut my 3 inch turbo back thunder fabrications dp/mp and slid this on and weld up the seams. The car is way more friendly above 3k rpms to the ear drums.

FDs have torsen diffs which are really good, but tend to break if you put a lot of power in them, which is why a lot of people go for the TII ones.
and yeah, the 4.33s were only in the GTUs

yeah and no real performance losses and all sound gain for $110 bucks its a steal. And they also have up to 4 inch which is very tempting now that the sound barrier is not broken every time I drive

I'm not putting out that kind of power, so I'd rather have the torsen.

Carriers (Not the disease kinda)
I was just asking because i have a miata Diff that I planned on putting in the carrier from a N/A. But if I could put the miata diff into the auto carrier then that would just save me time. (I say time in regaurds to not having to take the carrier off my N/a manual and putting in the miata lsd and then bolting up the carrier to the auto.
So I guess the simple questions would be:
1) Are the N/a and Auto N/a carriers the same as far as which gears will fit?
2) Are the manual and auto N/A carriers the same size?
