I fixed the remaining bugs in the rotary trailing code on megasqurt. No more misfires and other weird stuff. Now, I'm off to go build one of my new kits.

Ok, so I go into a restaurant in DC like a couple months ago, the waitress looks asian, I ask her where she is from, she says "Japan" I get her name and go.

So last week I go into the restaurant the Japanese girl jets right to the hostess counter, and I say her name(I remembered cuz I rock) she totally freaks out that I remember her name, and somehow she remembers me.

So while sitting at dinner my friend tells me to be bold and tell her she has beautiful eyes(something like "May Wa Kidayda") she totally freaks out again and runs off while giggling.

At the end of the meal she drops 20$ off the bill! So I gave her a 10$tip, and was just thinking in my head, hey this girl is really cute and nice!

As were leaving she comes up to me, completely shy, both hands to her sides and asks me my name, I tell her, shake her hand and she bows, I was like "!!! wtf what do i do?(in my head)(then I was like bah, I should bow back), she freaks out again and runs off as I leave.

So I was thinking in my head during the week, maybe this girl likes me, she was definitely talking to me alot more than a waitress usually does, she was absolutely gorgeous, was very respectable. I havent really had a GF in like 2+years cuz I went through my little ***** stage and was like "I need a good girl", so I was thinking, she seems very nice, respectable, and is doing something with her life.

My buddy after we left was like "Dude she totally digs you,"

So I was thinking about it, and today I was like, *** it, I'll go back there, maybe get to know her better, possibly exchange numbers!

She see's me and has the biggest freakin grin on her face, I say Konitchiwa May no Kidayna *her name*(which means hello beautiful eyed ......) she freaks out and says "Thank you so much", She keeps talking to me so much! and I ask her where she lives and who she lives with, she says she lives with her BOYFRIEND, my heart stops for second because I was completely sure she was interested in me! So I continue the conversation.......

I know she doesnt normally talk to the customers this much, because out of the 6 or so times I was there I never saw her talk to anyone much.

So by the end of the meal she easily had talked to me for atleast a half an hour, with the biggest grin on her face ever, she knocked 15bucks off my bill that time. I totally thought she forgot my name, but she says "Goodbye Doug, and tries to start another sentence, but I'm already almost out the door",

I always get hit on by some skanky looking women, trashy women, un-intelligent women, I'm absolutely sick of it! And the one girl I have found interesting in the past 2 or 3 years, she is taken! It totally blew my mind! Maybe I'm meant to be the black FD owner with a forever empty passenger seat! My life is so depressing! I work 80+hours a week, come home and sleep, and on the weekends I try to go out and meet new people, and I only meet slutty(I know because they talk about all the sex theyve had), trashy, drug addicted girls! I'm not even about to deal with that hassle, even if they are hot!

What should I do? I freakin hate mixed signals? or do you think I should pursue this one woman? graaaaah!

Plus my freakin AST on my FD is broken /sigh! time to take it back to ray! any advice plz0r! pm or post here if you want!

If she is hitting on you, and already has a boyfriend, whats to say she wouldnt hit on another guy while she was dating you? :O

 

hitting on someone and actually going beyond that can be two different things. technically, flirtation in the most basic sense consists of two people of opposite gender engaging in conversation. so, in other words, your girl flirts with men all day long.

 

Splitting hairs and making definitions doesnt make the situation any different girl!

This woman is hitting on Doug while she lives with her boyfriend! Sounds fishy to me!

EDIT: I'd be seriously bothered if 'my girl' spoke that way to other men.

if i read correctly, all she was doing was giggling, being shy, and acting girly.

i don't believe she was outright hitting on him...she didn't appear to invite him over, and it's not like she hid the fact that she's living with her significant other.

therefore, she was only being a silly girl who enjoys talking to nice guys who will actually converse with her, rather than a conniving twit, out to hurt the guy she lives with.

 

But the question was, should Doug go out/pursue her.

i didn't answer THAT - i was responding to your statement.

should he? i'd say no - but only because i've been in a position where i've been with one person and had someone else pursue me. it sucks, and someone always gets hurt...in my case, usually the pursuer. if her resolve is strong, Doug will be the one getting hurt.

so really, it's up to him - should he not bother, or should he risk either getting hurt or getting a girl who will likely leave him for the next great guy who appears in her life?

if anything - and if he's smart - he'll become friends with her, and tap her as a friend resource. girly chicks usually have female friends who are at least similar to them - there's a chance one will be single.

i also know what i would consider allowable, and what i wouldn't, if i were in the situation of the boyfriend. who cares if she talks to people, as long as she goes home to him every day? talk is talk - and that's pretty damned cheap...

but lord knows, if she has friends, she'll probably talk him up hardcore to them. she's acting like a schoolgirl who's got the ******* over a new, cute boy.

 

you never know ... some girls are bad at "flirting" so what comes across as innocent gigling and being girly can be overtures to something more serious...
