just replace it with a gerble and one of those running wheels

better yet....put a 1JZ in there...not only is it cross manufacturer and *** hard to make it fit in there...its illegal by federal emmisions laws :-p but its bulletproof, twin turbo, and can EASILY pump out between stock 265HP and 500HP with little modification.

holy crap...it took almost 4 minutes for that last edit to finally post.

Is that what lies inside of a Super-Dupra to make it lay down that torque? If so, sign me up!!

j/k But yeah... I don't have a lot of time to do loads of custom fab, I just need something that'll drop in nicely and be reliable.... And since the harness will most likely be cut, I think i'll turn to the "House of Ken" for an MegaSquirt control and tune..

the torque monster is the 2JZ. yer cars too light to be able to handle it..you would have to severely gear down the differential otherwise you would burn out all over the place.

the 7M engine i got in mine would prob still make yer car burn out easily...but not to the same degree...just wouldnt be able to floor it from a stop if you were racing someone.

That would involve boot camp, taking orders, and getting shot at. None of which I have any interest in.

I'll keep my private sector employment, thanks.

you cannot get a lifestyle polygraph while in the armed services. Highest level of poly the service can grant is CI (Counter Inteligence) very low level. But yes it will help you land a job out of the service but not at 120.

No. I just don't like having orders barked in my face, waking up at 4 AM, or any of that such stuff. I also don't like a strict dress code...

I walk into work at noon... (Well, I'm supposed to be there at noon, I've been at least half an hour late for the past year or so.) I wear jeans, a t-shirt, and either flannel or a hawiian shirt... And the most hazzardous things i have to deal with are either falling down the stairs to my office, or burning myself with a soldering iron.

Yes if you are a active duty service member you will be required to take a CI poly for orders to NSA. Under the Geneva convention rules a active service member cannot be subjected to a full scope lifestyle poly. You would crack and pull a Private Pile.

thats funny cuz i was told that it was gonna be a full scope poly by the unit itself. i wont find out what it is till i get it. whole thing is on info lockdown from me cuz its so sensitive. they cant even tell me the actual job description till i at least get my secret level clearance. the interview itself was the oddest one ive ever had cuz they had to push me to tell them the answers they wanted without actually asking the questions....if that makes any sense. and i'll still prob be stuck up at warfield for a WHILE when i get back. im not even allowed to DRILL with them till i get my full clearance.

Good Sean! Since your getting high clearance you can check out my grandfather! "David Shamp", He was Navy Intelligence, went to the first intelligence group called "The Old Crows"(something like that), later on the old crows turned into the CIA(atleast thats what I'm told), Noone really knows what my grandfather did with his 35years out of his at home Families Life, so seriously if somone could find this out! plz do tell me!

As for security clearance, bah, my dad is permanantly kicked out of the pentagon, my great uncle was in the government but also had a contracting company on the side, pentagon had a water main break 3 floors down on the main level, my dad turned it on my accident, and well he flooded the 3rd floor down w/ like 2 feet of water! hahaha my dad is t3h pwnz0r!

Hey guys, I'm seriously into getting a shop set up if we can.

VERY interested. I want to find out who exactly wants to work with me on this. *

Buckwild, I'm serious about this if I could get a crew together to support this, and a location. And I dont want to set this up in elicott city, I'd rather set it up out in the boondocks (cheeper land, more land) and set up a full rotary shop. I want to set up a meeting where we can all get together and talk about this, and find an angle of attack.

We WILL work on other cars, theres too much of a market out there not to.

But I want to start very small with very planned out investments (Working on other people's 7s, buying junked ones and turning them into very nice running stock or modded sevens) None of that "Lets biuld a show car to advertize as the first thing we do!" stuff. None of that blasting money randomly that I've seen so many other shops come and go with. I want to watch every penny that goes in and out of this place, and run a totally legit shop, no ripping people off for parts or time.

I was thinking about this before, but I decided not to start a shop based on the fact that I wanted to go to school.

Well, I'm getting fed up with this useless paperwork and am more interested in making something out of my life. I say, lets get some people with some skills together and make it work!

My idea is to create a life-long customer base with quality work and friendly service.
Shops are everywhere, but people go based on word of mouth.

And I don't mean that all as some kinda wishy washy mission statement. Thats the way it's gonna be. I wont tolerate it if we just turn into another cash-hungry incompitent chophouse.

**** I already have a shop here at my garage. I have people stopping by all the time. The nice part about my garage is that I've got a truck and plenty of machine shops/parts stores within 10 minutes. This area is also zoned for commercial buisness. When I'm prepared to really start buisness, All I need to do is build a larger metal building behind my current garage and install lifts.
