looking for a place to drive

hey what's up every i'm from the rhode island area. i'm looking for a road course to drive my FC on. but every time I call tracks around they want my car with so much stuff on it, that u can't drive it on the street any more. I don't care about wearing a helmet it's all good to me. does anyone here no of a road course on the east coast area, or something like it. if anyone does let me no what's up. thanks

VIR (Virginia International Raceway) http://www.virclub.com/vir/ You could check there, never been myself but i know of people who have been there and they don't have a roll cage or anything in their cars.

you need to run with one of the organizations putting on high performance driving school type events. There are some that run at Lime Rock and Pocono, and NHIS and I am sure some other ones. I run at VIR and Summit Point.

Check out the web sites for the nearby tracks and look at their schedule for thing like PCA days. Audi Club, Mazda Drivers, or NASA, etc. These are the type events that have open track type events.

http://www.ner.org aslo has a track class coming soon.

Have you considered or done auto-x?
