The CARTCT club (www.cartct.com) has a track day at Lime Rock on June 22. It's $240, but you get a lot of seat time on the track. But these Lime Rock drift events are really no big deal. No big turnouts in terms of drivers and last year no spectators allowed unless you brought them in as your crew... but at least you can practice your drifting techniques in a safe and legal environment.

With popular tracks like Lime Rock, these drift events and other small motorsports clubs can only afford to rent them midweek when it's a lot cheaper. A few weekends ago, there was a drift event at the Stafford Springs track on a Saturday.

Probably not. Email one of the organzers to make sure. Again, last time that they had this event at Lime Rock, there were no spectators allowed. But some people got in as pit crew with one of the drivers for $5 a pop. Each driver is allowed 3 crew members.

These New England drift events are really uber low-budget productions... you shouldn't really expect much from them. We're not in Japan or in SoCal.

you are 100% correct no spectators but if you come as one of the drivers *3* pit crew, you can get in for $5

I emailed the organizers to ask about the spectator thing. Otherwise, at the last Stafford Springs event, their "flyer" clearly stated that general admission was $15.
