MA Japanese Car & Motorcycle Day, Brookline Ma. Aug 16th 2009

Getting it out there early this year. Looking to make it bigger and better than ever. Have invited a few of the New England JNC clubs, hopefully we get a HUGE turnout. Great location in Boston, easy to get to with beautiful grounds and plenty of good places for photos!

Sponsors on hand...
Sapporo Beer
JNC ( www.japanesenostalgiccar.com )
more to come!

This looks like it's going to be a big turnout. I talked to a few of the VMRC members and they said they will be attending the event. Hope to see everyone there. This is one event of many you don't want to miss.

yeah it's an annual event and has some REALLY clean classic Japanese autos. Very cool and fun. And the Museum is pretty sweet too.

Hey Mazdax605 are you going to dust off the Repu and bring it down so that I can finally see it in person and take a few pics before it sells?

It's there every year. It even won an award a few years back. I don't think it is going to sell anyway.

No problem, wondered how long it would take for you to see that. You should get multiple drivers and bring all three of them up. I really want to see that Datsun!

I hadn't seen the thread until yesterday,but I am glad I did.

The Datsun doesn't run so great, but hopefully with any luck I will be getting a set of stock Hitachi SU carbs from a OZ spec car,and I will have it running better soon.

Last year I had my dad drive the RX-7,and I drove the REPU. This year will take some more people to bring it,but I may be able to do it. The RX-7 engine started smoking lots of blue smoke yesterday, and I am worried I need a rebuild on the stock engine with around 85k original miles. I guess 31 years is a long time to ask for the oil seals to seal. I talked to Jamie K about rebuilding the stock factory engine someday, but for now I think I will just put up with the embarrasing blue smoke when running it hard.

Cant wait...... less than 24 hours! Clayed and polised the seven, going home to wax it, polish the wheels and detail the interior in about an hour!

Had a great turnout, about 100 cars and probably 60 or so bikes. Like to see this thing grow more and more with each year. Gave a way quite a bit of Sapporo during the day and there will be some even bigger prizes in store for next years event.

So supercherged..... if you drove by, why not stop in!
